Not yet. There is still another 4 weeks to go.

Correct.
He did a dodgy in Perth many moons ago.
Now this in Adelaide.
Where to next?

I Guess this thread was only 2 years too early.
By the sounds of things, this has been a fait accompli with Him waiting for a new position interstate to become available.

Any development program will take time, this is just well communicated trolling.
Take it up with BSA

PAC only won intercol by the skin of their teeth, the tension from their coaches would have been palpable.

To be fair he has played well at times but is inconsistent and the pressure is great. Unfortunately the sense of entitlement doesn’t sit welll with teammates nor does the constant preferential treatment in a team environment. Attitude is an issue too and lack of common social graces have been observed by others and that exacerbates the overall perception of the situation on top of the playing. Use the position to set an example not abuse it.

Ahhh good old David Ingham, drama always surrounds this guy whether he is in the NBL or now involved with juniors.

Country must be all for it as their president was one of the first to congratulate him on FB?

He tried to backstab head coach Scott Fisher at the Wildcats when he was an assistant in Perth. Tried to lead a player revolt which failed so got sacked mid season! Dude is sneaky. Beware.

Hurry up and appoint a competent CEO that can work with clubs and clean shit like this up, can already see this appearing on today tonight. Making a mockery of basketball in this state.

You have just revealed how incredibly irrelevant your opinion is when you believe that a majority of opinions on a social media blog actually have any relevance or factual basis. You quite simply have no clue if ingham has cleared this with his employers or how much he is getting paid or how much of his time it will take but that's ok , just guess or make it up what suits your argument .

There are many other schools with excellent basketball programs that great coaches from many district clubs assist with all over the state with existing students. Sacred Heart, Trinity and public schools as well like Unley, and then Henley has their specialist program, to mention a few. As far as a first in the state, there is already a scholarship program specifically for Basketball down south as well at a private school so this is nothing new and just a trend. The issue is who should run those programs and conflict of interest with the state selector and if he is able to meet all performance measures and outcomes if there is any for his current role. With no CEO there is no accountability and perhaps a new job description should be created specifically dealing with all these issues and providing clarification. Given a Son is also involved there is another layer to consider but not suggesting he does not deserve his position, but the integrity of the program should be considered.

Positives here far outweigh negatives, just imagine a private school actually focusing on basketball and actually attracting ballers to the school , good on you Ingham finally doing something positive for basketball in this state , Maybe he can make school basketball a serious product with fully timed games etc.
While the clubs argue with BSA over money and power at least he is getting on and doing something for the sport.

Before this post most would have said "as if he would take a private school gig"
That job description doesn't say he can't do paid individuals. Picked a good time to get job without CEO to report to. Hopefully things are transparent and kids suddenly don't get scholarships handed around

To clarify any misinformation. Job description
http://websites.sportstg.com/get_file.cgi?id=2648495

That's hilarious, as if Ingham would do any individuals for cash - what a joke . You might want to check his job description for all jobs before you comment . You have no clue.

How much do you think he's getting???

Regardless of what he doesn't do in his role as state hp manager it is very unusual to also take on a side coaching gig at a private school! But bsa is in the toilet big time and sac are a nothing anyway so I suppose good on him for making some extra bucks.

Must have been kids in Millicent looking to go to pac

Try getting some facts Samcro and Ben before making bullshit statements. Ingham is and has been heavily involved with SAC since his appointment, he doesn't turn up at local Dnsp because that's not his role . He was recently at Millicent and Barossa Develoment camps and he will and always has attended trials , Albury country cup , Southern Cross and Nationals where he is always heavily involved with SAC coaches and athletes.

Absolutely Zero interest in SA Country Basketball, Mr Ingham.

#1855 you are the pathetic uneducated individual. Ingham has never been to Country areas during his appointment. He runs NITP in the metropolitan area with a small portion of the elite classed country kids.
He shows no interest in the country program whatsoever

It's like a politician taking a job whilst serving at a company that's linked with their portfolio. Even just the discussion on this forum has people divided, Ingham has gone for the money. Even in my government job I have to declare if I get a second weekend job in case in conflicts with my main one. The main culprit here is bsa for allowing it, should demand his immediate resignation from either position. And this crap about competitiveness in private schools, yes, but they don't go reaching for basically the guy that ticks off who in high development.

How does early team selection release be suspicious, more like a clerical error , think about how many trials and trainings the kids had already had and what is relevance ?
Suggesting that this is a conflict of interest is a stretch at best and BSA could very easily clarify what DI can or can't do in this role , as happens in the corporate world !
Given the unrest and potential restructuring in basketball in Adelaide , if I was David Ingham I would be looking for a new job anyway .

Like last years 16 state team being posted online in high performance bsa site before 16 trials had finished. Lends to suspicion from those with open minds and eyes ! Yes schools improving their programs is good but a state appointed body to oversee the running of a sport should and must be impartial and have no conflict of interest. It is imperative regardless of what you think of any of its staf, right or wrong that integrity is maintained. It is not personal, it is about governance and good practice to protect those the association serves and those employed by the association. If you are in corporate business and management you would understand this. Perhaps the appropriate givernement minister needs to be made aware.

This could well be the best move for the development basketball in SA we have seen. When you understand how competitive the private school system is you can see schools across the state ramping up their basketball programs to compete and throw in scholarships for ballers both country and metro , great work David Ingham and PAC

What pathetic negative comments, David Ingham has been a breath of fresh air in both metro and country programs. He is passionate about improving basketball in this state and this move will see more Colleges do the same and raise the bar for basketball across Adelaide.

Thought the same thing about conflict of interest, he's supposed to be impartial for god's sake. I wonder if a PAC kid is in the running for any nitp gig they get it because of him instead of another kid. Just lining his own pockets while he can, should never be allowed. Either he's independent, or supposedly so, or quits and coaches school and club teams. Once again bsa have shown how much of a joke they are. Doesn't matter if he's overseeing program, he's going to be biased. But seems like he can do whatever they want without repercussions, but question is how does it change, not a club thing and do schools have a say in running of bsa, Dirty Dave strikes again.

David doesn't go to the country, he hates SA Country! They are the biggest waste of time going around. Good on him for getting a side gig.

I'm not particularly excited about it as now with his connections he will probably be able to offer scholarships and steal kids from my program.

Confused, he won't be attending school practices when they conflict with NITP. His job as I understand it is to recruit coaches, identify players for basketball scholarships and oversee the implementation of the middle and senior school basketball programs.
PAC weren't thrilled with the direction of their basketball program and have decided to make it a priority. I don't know if they headhunted David, but due to his obvious connections with SA's elite programs they would have made him a good offer for very little time commitment.

How can he possibly attend School practice sessions when they will conflict with NITP sessions?
How can he be out over seeing country programs when he will also need to be back in the city for after school practice sessions for his 'other job'?
How can he coach in the Saturday school competition when it will conflict with State practice sessions?
We were all told that BSA would provide the clubs with a liaison coach and after VIcki Valk left, it never happened!
And now not only do we have this, but again there are 5 Sturt coaches running State teams as Head Coaches!
People wonder why clubs are concerned with BSA, so much so that they are looking at leaving the competition. The competition generates the revenue that pays for this and other positions, and now us members of clubs will see even less value for money.
So confused...so disappointed.

Remember when he tried to backstab Scott Fisher for the head coach role at the Wildcats? #memories
