As above goal tends and fouls aren't counted as blocks.
Not a great game really Fearne won the coaching battle getting the game to be played at their pace but the Sixers just had too much talent to never look that threatened. Good to see Childress get some time but he definitely needs to get his legs under him to be fully implemented into the team. Shorter was pretty impressive last night too.

It was a strange game. I agree with @Bretts The Man that Adelaide weren't at their best but would add that I don't think the Taipans were either.
I thought the Taipans defended well for the most part but their offense was terrible for a lot of the game. Players seemed lost and didn't seem to know what was going on at different times. Fearne mentioned this after the game and seemed to be putting the heat on the estabilished players for this (given some of them have been in the system for at least a couple of years) but Scooch seemed to be the player copping it the most from Fearne during the game.
The last few seasons the Taipans have found Adelaide a difficult proposition up here in Cairns, to the point that Adelaide have now won 5 out of the last 7 games played here.

Thought that was a very ordinary game from Sixers as there for well over a quarter Cairns could not hit a shot and we floundered with turnover and poor shot selection and no real system.
Shorter lesser extent DJ and Sobey only ones that looked like NBL top team type players.
Really believing in Shorter with good PG skills and shot selection who can rebound and actually defend.
How the hell is Hodgson in the Aust. squad as has been hopeless whole season and even so called strength rebounding got smashed early with their offensive rebounds against.
Why did Moore play so many minutes this game was very ordinary all round.
Where was our plan B when Fearne closed down our quick movement.

Yeah the stats have been wrong in most games this season.
On friday it said bryce cotton only played 22 minutes which he didn't. He played 31 and if you go through the play by play for cotton you can add it up that he played 31 minutes. As for teys the stats people have him substituting in at the start of the 3rd quarter which he didn't and playing the rest of the game so it is clearly careless people on the stats who have no idea what they are doing.

NBL box had him for 21 mins. Thought that was odd because I didn’t see him play and assumed Childress would get his minutes.

Adelaide taking care of business just like they should be. The standards of success are very high for the 36ers with this squad so nothing to exciting here but road wins are always nice. Adelaide have to have much bigger goals, that being the scalps of United and Perth.

Wher are all the 36ers supporters?
They don’t like the latitude of Cairns fans.

Well, Carrera is a bit of a rampaging x-factor.
Good spread from the 36ers though and didn't need Childress to excel. 18/26 FT, 17 TO and still got the road win.
(Sorry about the site issues - Hoops' database has been problematic and a conversion in table types didn't help at all so I had to revert.)

Greenwood’s mother

A short selection of images taken at the arrival of John Williamson this morning.

Childress looks rusty, just 2 boards and a made basket in about 3 seconds of court time (slight exaggeration).

Where are all the Sixers supporters? None have posted apart form one in this thread. Church?

Not a fan of either team but am legit looking forward to Carrera 2: Electric Boogaloo

Haha you're all right Tokoto. We've just had a terrible run with this lately

Located in Perth - my bad. was going to say 4.30PM Perth time to annoy people, instead my error will annoy people anyway.

Yeah, it's better just to play it safe rather than educate oneself with timezone basics.
Oh wait... it's 6:30pm local time @ Cairns. ANOTHER FAIL!

Hahaha the tip-off time. Nice one
