Can Ben Simmons make the NBA All Star Game?
Final line: 19 pts, 17 reb, 14 ast, 2 blk, 6 t/o in a 14 point win over the Bulls.

Simmons on triple double watch. Just needs 3 more assists.
It's still the first half.

Standard fare isn't it? The players from the successful teams make the all star game- Celtics, Cavs, Raptors and Wizards make up 2/3's of the team.
Only absolute guns from average teams made it- like Giannis or Embiid.
A 2nd tier star from a good team- like Horford or Lowry- will usually make it ahead of 2nd tier stars from average teams like Simmons.

Fair enough. Was always on the fringes of that group and will certainly get his turn. His last two months haven’t quite lived up to the hype of the first two (understandably). But barring injury he could still end his career a 7-10 times all-star.

Yeah, from what I've seen so far I think his strengths are best utilised by having the ball in his hands a lot. Put plenty of shooters around him. It's a pity Andersen's time is up because a strong PF who can hit the 3 would be an even better asset than usual with Simmons dishing the ball around.

The best way to get the best out of simmons is to play him as a point guard, like what the 76ers are doing.

"Wow, how many of those are the same IP? What a case."More than. All the Lemanis-hating comments are the same IP.
At least a dozen I reckon!

Until recently Simmons was not even considered ROY material, of course now he is lock for boomers.
Wasn't fan of Lemanis appointment but last results were pretty good, should have medalled but had a bad game to end up. Wonder what these experts posting their opinions coach, hardly international or nbl, premier league, more likely armchair fans that think they're experts.

Simmons is a " LeBron " level talent and he should have picked and play major minutes for Australia when he was 18 years old, just like what Dragic is doing now for Slovenia. Those who said he was too young and not ready at 18 year old have no bloody clues.

Very considerate of that one ignoramus to keep writing "Lemonass" so we quickly know which posts not to bother reading. Convenient.
Exactly, and what a lame name to call him.

If Lemanis is Philly 76ers's coach, Simmons would be coming off the bench and plays 10 minutes a game because he would think Simmons is too young and not ready. That is how conservative he is.

If they are not Aussies, Maker, Simmons and Exum would have been the starters and mainstays for any national team 2 years ago, but not so with Australia. The Aussie system is way too conservative with their team selections and don't know how to make good use of the talents available.

Hogwash, 3 years ago Simmons was a better than the useless motum and bairstow.
Goran Dragic was a mainstay of the Slovenia team at 18 years of age and Simmons is 10 times better than Dragic. Just admit the Aussie system is pathetic and conservative.

Simmons might make the nba all-star team this year, but he would probably not make Lemanis' next starting lineup if he was picked. hahaha.

would lemanis use Simmons as a starter and play him 35 minutes a game for the next major tournament? I highly doubt that. The Aussie coach has been clueless and very conservative for the last 5, 6 years.

2019/2020 starting 5
6'10 Simmons-PG
6'0 Mills-SG
6'8 Ingles-SF
6'11 Bolden-PF
7'1 Maker-C

Simmons would be a huge part of any national team, but that night not be the case with Lemonass. Knowing Lemonass so well, he would start Delly and Mills as guards ahead of simmons and have Simmons coming off the bench. That is how lame and pathetic the Aussie system is.

Aussie, Simmons was overlooked by Lemonass 3 years ago, he was not injured. Get your fact fight. He was not picked for the world cup squad.

"Simmons should also be a starter now for the boomers. He is now the best Aussie basketballer. But the clueless Lemonass might play him only 5 mins off the bench in the next boomers game. LMAO"
What utter crap. Simmons will be a huge part of the team

"Simmons was not even pick for the boomers last time. That is how lame Lemonass is."
What a stupid comment. Very uninformed. Simmons was preparing for his first NBA season in 2016 (The Olympic year) until he got injured. He wasn't available.
Get your facts straight.
He will be a star for the Boomers for years to come.
Also, if you don't think Lemanis did a good coaching job in Rio, then you clearly have no clue about basketball

The boomers should be now Simmons' team. Lemonass should let Simmons do whatever he wants on the court and be the team"s point guard. just look at the 76ers, Simmons simply makes everyone on the team better. If Lemonass is smart enough he should follow suit and let the team build around Simmons.

Simmons was not even pick for the boomers last time. That is how lame Lemonass is.

He will make it. Too much hype too much talent, just has to be consistent for another 30 odd games.
