SEABL 2018
Dandenong have been on a downwards spiral for several years in their junior ranks, and far too many of their regular SEABL players women especially have jumped ship the last two seasons . Coaching is an issue but also their development is not what it used to be., think they probably need to clean house starting from the top and get a rebuild , no succession planning been going on at any level for sometime

nothing to do with moller. tigers scored60 points in the 2nd half. Wilson kept to reasonable numbers and the tigers smashed the inept chargers on the boards 51 to 25.
No Muo has finally caught up with the Chargers.
Braves scraping in a 2 point win last night Vs Gunners is trouble for the Chargers next weekend for sure. Then the Coe.

Three games into overtime, chargers smashed after leading by ten at the half, Moller ran out juice after China trip.

Opals Asia tour to destroy the last two weeks of the SEABL comp
How?
You don't see how teams losing their best players destroys those teams?
Well if these teams have to rely on just one player to win, then they need better recruiting lol
With the exception of Rangers who have two players going, the rest are either well out of top 4 or only have one player.
Rangers managed just fine before both Madgen and Lavey took the crt ( frankly both you would question selection of anyway)
So it should not have any effect at all. The two top teams don’t have anyone missing and have beaten the other teams with their full squads.

Considering the money spent on the DV womens roster, it’s not been value for money at any stretch, but it is basically Canberra’s WNBL from last season , all quite young and little cohesion or leadership.
Are McAughtrey and Porter still running the DV program?
Albury men definitely are usually much more competitive than the current roster .
Think Frankston both men and women need to go to,BigV, they get progressively worse ever year.

^spectres men dropped both, the women won both

No games this weekend but at this stage Ballarat and Kilsyth probably the two fancied teams, have got good starters plus solid depth, Nunawading probably third pick.
As for the MVP probably Moller followed by Wilson who are both leading their sides admirably.

Oh there is a womens seabl comp? :)
Yes funny about that, AND with some dam good players in it , the men’s Comp also have more than just Chargers and Pioneers in it too... shock horror lol
Not that you would know from this SEABL post lol

Bendigo having a dream run so far and not much to,challenge them till the end really, Spectres probably will be their biggest challenge ahead in the very last game as they have the defensive game to stop the offensive game of the spirit.

Moller had to score 43 for chargers to win, won’t happen every week. Ballarat have very good starting five and very solid bench. Ballarat also very well coached, will be very hard to beat.

Ballarat favourite now, Melbourne in over time last night and Nunawading today. The foul and free throw count in favour of Ballarat away from home seems strange though. 29 free throws to 9 and foul count of 22 to 10. Nunawading two losses over weekend.

Turner is a stats padder , not convinced Bendigo that good as early season reports.

Kilsyth Cobras (89) vs Turner & Kendle (66)

A Sam Muldrow triple double (17pts, 11reb & 10blks) combined with Dan Trist (26pts & 13reb) and Bennie Lewis (26pts) to powere Frankston past Geelong.

Miners by 5 in ot. Dexter k- d 22 but 8 turn overs.
Wilson 26 but t.o.
Hooley 20
Short 18
Miners down by 7 with minute less minute to play but got it to ot.

Volunteer at a local hospital Millionaire hot seat, you've clearly got way too much time on your hands

Dream on, they don’t have the money for anything , and certainly not a player yet to even play at SEABL level lol

When Frankston are not willing to pay even a half decent wage to good players what can they expect.

The once might Frankston Blues men are a shadow of themselves
With the most inexperienced and least qualified coach in the league, tonight they lost to an U/20 team COE team who have struggled all year.
Interesting to see no miss spelt media releases this week about releasing import Aaron Ross.
Maybe we can vote on Facebook this week on who is the MVP of the game that they just lost to a youth team in. LOL
Questions need to be asked about how this team might be the worst SEABL team of all time. This is no
Joke.
Several of these players wouldn’t start on Big V Div 2 teams.
Why recruit an ex Hobart 27 year old player who couldn’t score double figures in domestic A grade?
They start 2 Aussies that wouldn’t make 95% of SEABL rosters.
No wonder less than 100 people attend home games and nobody likes any of their Facebook posts.
On the flip side the women one their first game and celebrated like they were seabl Champions.
Who will Coach this team during the NBA summer league?
Maybe the GM?
Jolly Good Times down on the Peninsula. Just ask Basketball Victoria or the State Government.
The truth is out there???

Hobart getting over 1000 people to watch seabl they should do very well when Bogut,Goulding, Randle, Cotton etc come to town.

Because NBL wants to see strong Chargers crowds at DEC as one of the requirements for gaining an NBL entry.

Don't they need higher than that to show the NBL they are viable at the next level.

Moller with 43 pts & 15 rebs vs Miners

stewie can seemingly do as he pleases without the league giving a rats including deliberately pushing a player during the course of a game without even a reprimand.

Anon #676 if you are referring to the Spectres game at the Supercats, CONN played 38+ minutes and did not pick up a foul while HICKS got the full quota of 5 fouls in just under 20 minutes.
I couldn't make that game but SEABL officials are not from the home Association, they are independent, so what is it you actually want to say?
Maybe they looked after CONN while calling everything HICKS touched? Or the opposite........?

Men's. I was told it was crap. Conn still gettingb the job done. replay in 2 weeks I see.

Which game men’s or women’s?

So TC told how much he is on? Or are you on Pioneers board? Oh that's right you just guessing.

man, the Braves have been a disappointment. Too bad Turner and Kendle have no consistent help - both deserve better

Certainly a strong possibility they miss playoffs. Smashed by injuries.
No Daly Hill or Deng for last 6 games unsure of return date for any of these. Playing well but not well enough, down to Chargers on last shot only used 6 players.

pioneers are languishing in 12th they might struggle to even qualify for the finals. thoughts?

They have 2 imports, only one of them suited up this weekend.

Watched some of the Frankston/ Melbourne game today, their import was playing , so too Simmons who’s been out with injury, doubt very much the addition of any player will change the format they have, and certainly not Reid, when you have Barr running the show .think it’s just wrong combination of players, very little defence and little depth off the bench, which adds up to a long season ahead for the Blues ladies.

I only watched on the live stats (and not the whole game, was flicking between a few games) it looked like one of Frankston's imports is injured again, they're still missing a starter who's out with an ankle injury, they're still missing their starting PG (if you're to believe the Steph Reid rumours) and it looked like Sammy Simmons did not play in the 2nd half, so possibly injured again. They've been disorganised in terms of their roster (only seem to have 8 players, from the start and then had a shocking run with injuries, that's sport. They're actually doing surprisingly well when you consider all of that.
