Melbourne United is excited to announce that Chinese-born Jet Meng will be joining the Club as one of the team’s training players for the 2017-18 NBL season.
Towering in at 7.2ft, the young big-man joins the Club as a training player as Melbourne United and the NBL continue to strengthen their ties into China, one of the world’s biggest basketball markets.
Meng most recently spent time with the Shanghai Sharks under Australian Head Coach Brian Gorjian, after graduating from IMG Academy in the US.
At just 21 years of age, the centre joins the Club to develop his skills in the hope of earning himself a NBL contract in the future.

Probably the dud from China that everyone has been talking about. If he was any good he wouldn't be on an NBL side. The new Bo Liu ;)
