Taipan's v Bullets
It boggles my mind that everytime the Bullets play somebody seems to lose their mind about how the team jerseys are indistinguishable from the opposition.

Caldwell did not ref, she was the emergency referee.

It boggles the mind how people can't seem to spell either the word 'Cairns' or 'Taipans' properly

Um need I say more about this awful march to watch than we spoke about colour wheels more than how these teams looked terrible.
I hope there is no ill affects from McCarron with his knee, it didn't look good there for a while.
This may sound wrong and I can't believe I'm condoning this but I think Cedric Jackson would be good for Cairns, I mean they normally like their PG to be their leading scorer but Scoochie is hardly that and the added defence, rebounding, leadership and winners mentality of Jackson are miles above Smith.
Besides Jackson getting the ball to McCarron, Jawai and Gliddon, what's not to love?

It's a pretty difficult thing to do at full speed. Everything is reviewed these days so if there's an error it will be corrected.

Both Te Rangi & Buford got their hands on it. Probably a flip of the coin by the stats bench.

Did Buford get that last block? He got another one off a Scoochie drive but only credited with 1. When you have him as your fantasy captain that is 8 points.

Jesus, it looked lik Brisbane were going to let in another uncontested layup in th buzzer.

Again, no. It's not my eyes. It's basic colour theory. It may look fine to you, but if the NBL wants an attractive product on TV these are the small details that are easy to get right.

I'm not at the game, I'm watching on TV. It's fine. It even works in black and white.
If the colours look bad to you, it's your eyes or your TV.

If you can easily tell them apart, why does it matter where they are on a colour wheel?
Light and dark has nothing to do with colour wheels anyway.

It's not an opinion, go look at a colour wheel. These two colours are analogous. What you want for opposing teams is contrast, which is why it's traditionally light/dark. The Bullets' maroon either needs more blue than red, or the Taipan's orange needs more yellow than brown.

It's not about not being able to tell the two teams apart, it's about how close those two colours and tones are to each other. Not having a true light/dark jersey on the court makes it look like a Monday night rec league game rather than a professional league.

Orange-Purple is a bad combination on TV. The colour combination, and the basketball so far...
Cairns should look to replace Scoochie rather than Evans Jnr IMO. Seems to have about 4 rotten games for every half-decent one.

Cairns have left Evans with the ball with the shot clock about to go off 3 times.
Big mistake!
