Wasn't going to bother but the low scoring piqued my interest. Watched the replay and looked like a decent defensive tussle with both teams struggling a bit with their offensive sets.

As usual Gaze out-coached. The Kings players looked more aggressive on D but the sets are still garbage at times leading to poor rebounding and transition. Farce ultimatum or not, it'd be hard for the players to stay motivated when they know the sets they were running are crap and ineffective.

Strategic-wise, usual mind boggling ineptitude. Certain key opponents in foul trouble and no clue how to effectively exploit that on offense. No isolation, no overloading weak side? Doesn't matter which superstars get recruited with coaching like that.

Shameless, stubborn and misguided. Tarnishing reputation for pride and money. What's going on inside that noggin to think they may have a chance to go on a 13 game winning streak? I said before they'd be lucky to go 8-5, right now they'd be lucky to go .500 in the last 8. Without a new coach, I can't see any sane and capable FAs would want to join the circus.

Yet they came very close to winning game.

For the Kings, they are failing in the basics, No blocking out for defensive rebounds, no attacking the ring for offensive rebounds, no switching or blocking the cutter when in D, No looking for inside shots in offense.
I do not understand how Tom Garlep can not get court time. How he has maintained his team 1st attitude i do not know. He is 1st onto the court at T outs and breaks in play to give players their towel and high 5 all players. Great team man and also energenic on the court

Why is Tom Wilson sitting with the Kings? What happened to him at Red Star? Once had a lot of hype after a strong junior career, made a poor college choice, seems now a poor choice in Europe? When's the last time he played meaningful minutes at an elite level?

Cooke deliberately gives up driving lanes so he can block shots. Fine when it works, but it often doesn't.
