Which coach is the most annoying on the sidelines?
I love the Taipans but I can't stand hearing Fearne talk, that muddled up accent just drives me crazy and I'm not even a referee.
Joey looks like he even tries intimidating the commentators as they interview him before the game... he really seems to hate Homicide.
Worst coach I think was (forgive me if I say his name wrong) Paul Woolpert that coached Townsville and assisted at Perth, I don't think I've ever been so happy to see a coach ejected in my life... I celebrated that moment of his ejection (of which I think he had a couple) more than I celebrated most game winning shots (mainly because my team isn't always on the winning side) but he annoyed me so much.
I wonder if Dean Demopolous was still in the NBL if his name would be mentioned often? His 'aight' annoyed the shit out of everyone

Gaze looks awful. It doesn't look like anyone including the players are enjoying the Gaze coaching experience. The fact no one fouled in the last 20 secs sums up his tenure. No ones listening or did he not instruct someone to foul - or atleast go for the hard steal? Game over in embarassing fashion!
I reckon Trev has chilled quite a lot now he's got 3 titles under his belt.
Would Nielson - a former captain & ring winner at the Kings be a good choice as next coach?

Sticks up for his players and his organization. He must really suck right.

Joey no one

"There was the classic moment in yesterday's game where Gaze turns towards the crowd as he bellows "Oh my ****ing Godfather". Immediately the two ladies in the Hollywood seats adjacent to him turn to each other discussing what the word 'Godfather' might mean."
I sat there watching that on the telly yesterday and my first thought was that if it had been Joey, he'd most likely have been tech fouled. But being Gaze he got away with it.....and the ref who was only about 3 feet from him would have had to have been deaf not to hear what he said. And then he kept on going on and on about with the ref just saying that is what was called.
The interesting part though was when Gaze turned and said something to the bench players. It looked like none of them even took any notice that their coach was talking to them.....

Those old ducks that sit there just having a chat with no interest in the game.

If all the other coaches (Gaze not included because he doesn't fit coach criteria) in the NBL were coaching my team I'd be ok except for Gleeson. I'd need a break from basketball until he moved on I'd say.

Gleeson gets the nod because he goes all night, and he gets the pitch up to a level that would give some dogs the shits. Lot's of people like to jump on Joey, and even as a 36ers supporter I'll admit he rides the refs a fair bit (what coach doesn't?), but at least he sits down on occasion or just shakes his head or he asks questions of the refs rather than whinging like a toddler.

Watching Gaze I feel a bit sad I'd say truthfully.

Gleeson, easily.
Wright is annoying too.

Are we counting vickermans ref moan before rhe game that worked as the sideline? Coaches bitch and moan it part of the gig, i thought that was poor, although it worked.
Joey punched another coach so he probably gets my vote. I tend to think the bitching is a symptom not the problem. Despite trev going nuts o the sideline i dont think he has pointed the blame at the refs in the media, i think that deserves some credit.

I dunno ... when Gleeson gets going I kinda want to slap him. When Gaze gets going I just want to give him a hug.

Bevo definitely the least annoying.
Wright doesn't shut up, but I actually think he does it in a pretty classy way. Gaze is at least entertaining, but I'd hate to have him coaching my team like that. Gleeson is most irritating. The rest do their share of complaining but aren't that bad.

Aaron Fearne. Either he has no idea of the rules or thinks he’s a master manipulator of referees.

Gleeson is probably winning the tag for all time I'd say.

Gaze wants a shot at the title!

Gleeson

Gleeson isn't as bad on the road but in Perth he just loses his mind. There's working the refs and then there's Gleeson level. It actually wouldn't surprise me one day if a ref turned around and decked him.

Gleeson suffers from a really advanced form of RBF

Gleeson by miles

Last night he was in vintage form, but IMO Gleeson's flogishness has been down a level for a good couple of years now. Maybe I'm biased but I couldn't have him above Wright.
I'd also have Henare above Bevo & Gaze, who are the clear bottom 2 IMO.

I wont have results for last week until later tonight at the earliest as I left my USB stick at home.
Please be aware the the cut off this week is 5pm THURSDAY.
