looked like phones they were holding up at duke v carolina game

they actually dont use there phone... most of the time at the doors when you scan your ticket you are given a braclet to wear.. the lights in it are controlled by the arena so they go on/off together as one. Below is an image of one

dial tone
Sounds like you’re using an analogue phone (or pulse dialing landline phone). No matter what the app is, you won’t be able to download it to your old analogue brick!
On a serious tone, you can even get domestic home and pool lights that synchronise to music beats.
Wonder how much the app would cost to set up for venues though, and could it be used as an up-sell, or a bonus extra with season tickets perhaps.

I copy and pasted the title into Google and one of the top search results was this thread, which failed to answer the question

why are we not onto this here ?

I copy and pasted your title into Google and it answered your question.

Has the time come for someone to put a vote of "no confidence" in the current leadership at Basketball SA?
Is enough , enough ?
1. No new stadiums in four years despite Government rescue packages of $43 Billion handed out once in a lifetime
2. No sponsorship of any kind in our sport and the loss of Bank SA and a like years ago.
3. No evenness of the competition with the strong getting stronger and the others falling away alarmingly.
4. No change in senior management and we put up with the same old same old every season/year.
5. No showcase for Senior basketball in SA (and reading the Hoops SA site today the event last night was disgracefully run with a low budget feel with a premium price tag).Same 18 round season year in year out. Why not think of a 27 round season with a split in the middle of Winter to play on e.g. Friday's in the middle of school holidays and then on Sunday?.
6. Under 23 is disgraceful in the lower end and kids will leave the sport to play something that offers more like footy for a better return for your ( their money)
7. Division 2 Men on Monday night hasn't worked and BSA haven't listened to the concerns raised by clubs that ABA train mostly on Monday's
8. Poor competition planning ( Promor/Relo is about to happen again, where clubs may end up with 3 teams in a 8 team comp for Winter 2012 ) with poor usage of local facilities that are up to scratch and using out of date stadiums for premium events.12 team competitions with 18 round seasons in juniors yet seniors run for 24 rounds?
9. No "balls" to set the direction early only try and have more meetings with no outcomes.
10. No resolution with Church and Country.
11. Domestic comp poorly managed and it is only kids wanting a second game with substandard environment.
12. Most of all, poor communication to all members. One newsletter every time there is a full or new moon is not enough IMO.
Things need to change at the top, and is it time for the vote at the next BSA AGM ??
