I'm going
Canberra - Mitchell/Wallace/Nurse/Griffin/Tolo
Townsville - Cocks/Madgen/Samuels/Mallot/Batkovic
Melbourne - Allen/Ohea/Talbot/George/Magbegor
Dandenong - Lavey/Laney/Jarry/Blicavs/Pederson
Perth - Mansfield/Ebzery/McPhee/Taylor/Allen
Adelaide - Seekamp/Blicavs/Nicholson/Coffey/Davidson
Sydney - Smart/Snell/Wilson/Johnson/Bunton
Bendigo - Hurst/Scott/Whittle/Payne/Tobin

WNBL has been going since 1981 get a clue!!

Not much depth in the wnbl just yet, will take some time.
Should be another import spot to help in the meantime,

Thompson hasn’t changed since u10 not a team girl and whilst she starts off well, is usually relegated to bench after a few weeks. Having said that, there was also talk from the ville she was transferring to netball. Think Elsworthy is a dp for Adelaide, but not 100% in that

LOL I'd forgotten Heal playing at 14. Ludicrous stuff. Not even LJ played pro ball that young

I would have thought Elsworthy and Thompson were worth a roster spot somewhere.

Heal not scholastic at all, so college not an option

from the lynx website about Heal - "The point guard, who turns 17 in September, joins the Lynx on a two-year contract as a member of the full playing squad."

Is she a dp or contract player? Probably had some big schools after her.

Something like that.. but her dad was coach.

shyla heal just turned 17 like 2 weeks ago. does that mean she was 14 when she was playing for the seq stars? 14???!!!??

She did, in limited minutes.
Impressed as a dp for sure. Odd that she's from Ballarat and has gone all the way to dandenong over Bendigo.
Contis the backup atm, be interesting to see young Heal also at Perth.

Disappointing to see SA girls not signed unless there was no intent to play.

4 DPs to dandenong also.

No legit bigs for Perth and roster is complete?

what a shame they dont look to use Australian players

Concerning for the Lynx that Kaela Davis is currently missing her 3rd WNBA game in a row due to a flare-up of her Meniere's Disease.
Lynx have signed Brittany McPhee to replace Davis

Terrible leagues.... just a holiday.

Ashley Spencer was left off that list of SA girls. Jess Good to England. Still a couple of non signings.

Perth has signed Tasmanian Ellie Collins:

Nat Burton signed in Germany and Alex Ciabattoni in Italy.

Sarah Elsworthy
Olivia Thompson
Jess Good
Shannon McKay
Alex Ciabattoni
Any news on these SA girls??
"We could not be more thrilled to have secured Chris,” Lightning and 36ers chief executive Guy Hedderwick said.
“He is going to rebuild the brand using South Australian players. This is a huge coup for women’s basketball in South Australia and for the Lightning.”
“My goal is to rebuild the Lightning as a South Australian team,” [Chris Lucas] said.
June 2016

“Reid is a good pickup for Dandenong. Will probably push Lavey and toddhunter to the bench by seasons end.”
Settle down lol she will be lucky to even make the bench ,

A couple of recent signings including Steph Reid to Dandenong:

And Ally Malott to Townsville:

#702128 you need to elaborate, your point is unclear. Molly's track record speaks for itself (doesn't win, doesn't develop), not sure what you're basing your attack on his AC's on though, unless I've misunderstood your point?

Bendigo last place...

looking forward to the season some good line ups - will be interested in the new faces and if they can translate their games to be stand outs in the WNBL.

*best lineup. Above was me.

Yeah this is a surprise their best best of Mansfield-Ebzery-Davis-Taylor-Allen/Standish is very small. What Aussie bigs are left available for their last spot?
Nurse is a great signing for Canberra

Nurse is a fantastic defender, 3 pt shooter and teammate. A lock for the Canadian national team for a very long time.
All the best to her.

Canberra
Mitchell - Wilson - Rocci
Wallace -
Nurse - Young
Griffin - Froling
Tolo - Scherf
You'd expect Wallace to start at SG if she was fit and healthy, but didn't she do her ACL in February like Tolo?
Griffin and Froling both recovering from surgery at the moment and I'm told Scherf broke her collarbone too.

Canberra
Mitchell - Wilson - Rocci
Wallace -
Nurse - Young
Griffin - Froling
Tolo - Scherf

Haha some artistic license there yes, but I've heard worse and I think it's fair enough in this case. She is playing major rotation minutes as a WNBA rookie and will be a very good player in the WNBL.

Anymore news on player movement/signings?

Rangers looking to sell their licence. Can’t justify spending so much money on a national program.

tall fern Davidson - on wnbl website
