Is Fearne the only one that should go?
Why the GM hate? Surely a GM should be on good money? Would be a lot less than the Head Coach I would have thought.

No-one has mentioned him here because this thread is about Aaron Fearne... Not everything here needs to be about Adelaide...

Where are the dickheads that are always calling for Joeys head, gone pretty quiet unless Adelaide don't win it, then the floodgates open
dafuq has to do with this conversation?
For those of us outside of Cairns, what are the actual problems with Beecroft? (other than being overpaid like a lot of GMs?)

Wait until the Grand Final for that.
Gleeson is making Joey look good at the moment, not surprisingly.

Crowd numbers suggest otherwise, Townsville were only pulling 1500-2000 in their last few years, despite a great effort from Dennis and his squad at the time. Taipans are still averaging 4000 a game in a city with only 150-160k population base. The Taipans still have a very substantial profile in FNQ, something that the Crocs lacked in their last half-decade of existence.

NBL site is running a poll of the best import pairing in the league.
Currently Cairns are leading. Wilson is pretty good, but Warren is probably the worst in the league (except maybe Ratzsch or Glover).
Question is: are nbl readers taking the piss or just crazy?
Second question is: who would be your pick?
I voted New Zealand. Jackson is pretty close to the best. Wilkinson was last year's best.
Adelaide could actually give this a shake. Warren is as good a shooter as I've seen. Has been found out a bit in the last few, but has the ability to put up 20 on any given night. Simpson would come close to leading the league in both points and rebounds if he was used in Weigh minutes. Has brought a lot to the table.
I still think Jackson is better (more versatile/well rounded) than Warren. Simpson and Wilkinson is an interesting comparison, Simpson is probably a better rebounder, Wilkinson the better offensive threat.
