NBL 50th anniversary team
I'm glad that I started this thread and agree with everything that has been said. Also I was thinking that in 10 years time that next generation will likely be the overriding voice but yeah you have to be a hell of a player for a very long time to even get in the conversation.
Thanks to everyone that's commented

It's just natural that one or two season players, no matter how good, will get forgotten about by a majority of the more casual NBL fans over the journey and thus won't poll well. You'd really need to be a star in the league for a significant period so your name carries the familiarity long after you've left the NBL.

Breakers come off a double OT victory over the Tigers that sent them top of the table where the Blaze are 4-4 and sitting 4th after going down to Cairns. Last time they played NZ got the job done in round 1 on the road and will be looking to back it up at home in this one.
NZ's starting 5 got the job done last week with all of them in double figures (Jackson 10, Corletto 18, Abercrombie 33, Vukona 10, Wilkinson 16) and interestingly the Breakers Starters pulled down 37 rebounds out of the Teams 54.
The Blaze have a great Player in Worthington who goes up against Vukona but Gibson, Cadee, Goulding and Harvey will all need to step up after going for a combined 17 points in their last match against Cairns.
Plenty of good matchups in this game and should be played at a pretty decent pace with both teams loving to run the floor.
My pick is Breakers by 9 at home
