Humphries declines Kings offer to focus on Europe
Slow, soft fouls, poor rebounding, low energy, no jumpshot - will struggle in Europe. We need to go after Boone, Low or Pleger.

Unless you’re playing euro league or cup the money isn’t better in Europe. The top players in the nbl now earn more than most euro leagues, that’s why the better aussies and even imports are staying in Australia.
If the kings sold Humphries as to the fans as the second coming they didn’t do there homework right he did go to Kentucky but hardly played. Good luck to him over there but if he’s at one of the top clubs they will want instant success unless he signs a long term contract like WIlliam McDowell white did, so if they make it they got the sell out clause.
Euro clubs aren’t chucking money away, it’s a ruthless business. Jvg might have got conned but can’t see that happening again.

Predictable. Was always going. The negatives with him are that he's a poor rebounder and didn’t work hard enough. Lacked toughness and resilience. Then again, has a lot of talent offensively. Just a shame he started his pro career with what is far and away the worst coaching staff in the league. Set his development back years.
All of this... This was always going to be a short term thing for him, and with no proper coaching staff to develop him (compared to having someone like Matty N who worked well with Brandt in such a short time frame) it makes sense to try his luck overseas...
As above, I think the key thing holding him back (that he could control) was his desire and effort... Pineau had it all over him in that department and made the most of his little time and then things improved... I think Isaac got over sold both to himself and to the fans by the management and this really mucked things up from the start...
As Steve says, things weren't going to get better next season, so best to take off now... If things don't work out over there, any NBL team will take him...

Has a burning desire to make it into the NBA. The right situation in Europe offers more pathway but paulo is correct about the passport if he is to find other options than following Jonah's footstep in FMP.
I think he also came to the realisation that the Kings situation next season may be detrimental to his playing time commensurate to what he could contribute. With more pressure to perform, the likelihood of playing behind an import C and emergence of Pineau, its probably a good idea to seek greener pastures.
It may turn out better for both parties TBH.

First Kentucky, now Europe. Terrible advisors, needed another year here to develop. But can't argue for short term money.

Showed some flashes definitely, but too many games where he either fouled his way off the court or didn't contribute on the glass. I think he'll find it tough going in EU, but probably the best thing for his career.

Didn’t show much to me, defence was ordinary, I’d think kings got lucky here. Comes across as a very mature twenty year old and good luck to him I’m just not convinced on his talent yet.

Same old NBL situation for fringe euro guys. Try it out over there, if it doesn’t work, the nbl will always have you back.

Tonight we lost a starting guard
Who steps into the breach and does Tom Daly join the roster full time to cover the loss.
Is Mottram still in town to fill the Ballinger position?
No doubt about it the team needs some bodies in a hurry before Friday night
