I would expect John would have already known who is a free agent and may have been fishing for a slip from Gaze (JVG has stated publicly he consults Andrew on player selections).

Gaze and Casey are a good commentating duo. Gaze needs to leave coaching and go back into the booth and replace the horrible Heal. Win/win for TV viewers and the Kings.

Context please LV, who were they talking about? (I missed the broadcast).

I understand all of the Boomers at the Commonwealth Games, but Sobey, Brandt, Wagstaff, Martin and Newley, are free agents.

They've been getting a fair bit of love from channel 7 having games shown in full even during prime time with other events on.

Hopefully alot have been tuning in. Like I said in a thread the other day, these games being broadcast live on mainstream FTA with a boomers team full of NBL players is imo the best promotion the NBL has had all year.

Probably pretty good as the Comm Games have been doing very well in the nightly ratings for 7 and these three games have all been played in prime time too.
