Having said that does it really matter? There is generally a buzz around seeing the COE play. They attract spectators, which is a good thing. Watching the newbies to see who "has it" and might make a pro career in the future.

Lol, seriously, they get their family if they are in that state and that’s it, they are kids with a very long road ahead which most wont ever get too, their are players in most teams that have more potential to go just as far, if not further.

They are a junior team in a senior competition

^ As already stated - NBA global academy is based at BA's COE at the AIS.

In theory, couldn't SEABL teams pick from 20 players as well?

i.e. Sandringham have 22 players named in the Stats section, but only 13 have recorded a stat so far. Frankston has 17 named. COE has 23, but 2 haven't played. A lot of teams have 15 or 16 named. Also, I would think there are a minimum number of games to qualify for finals?

If you are talking Womens, then there is no need to worry as they will not make playoffs

PLEASE NOTE. THIS IS THE LAST WEEK YOU ARE ABLE TO TRADE. THE TRADE WINDOW CLOSES AT 5PM FRIDAY

You can still sign/delist Free Agents however.

Time to start making sure your team is ready for playoffs.

8. THE PLAYOFFS
8.1 The top 4 teams at the end of the season will advance to the playoffs.
8.2 The round of the playoffs will see 1 v 4 and 2 v 3.
8.3 This round will be played over Rounds 22 and 23 of the NBL Season. The teams with the highest aggregate score over those 2 weeks will win and advance to the grand final.
8.4 Player signings/delistings may only be made prior to Rounds 22 & 24. However, you may still change your starting line ups for Rounds 23 & 25.
8.5 The Grand Final will be played over Rounds 24 and 25 of the NBL Season.
8.6 The team with the Highest Aggregate score will be declared the Hoops FNBL Champion for 2011/12.
8.7 Playoff games will still be run for all other teams during the playoffs to establish your final finishing position for the season.

You will be also playing for your draft spot in next seasons draft. I will explain this more in detail in the coming weeks, but finishing last wont get you the number 1 draft spot next season.
