BSA Premier League coaching jobs and who is safe!
End of the day you are comparing apples with oranges (Southern-Eastern). You can argue that Southern have $$ for a better roster etc etc but that comes from a committee structure that is very professional in its approach to getting sponsors on board and delivering a class product.
Eastern's game night product isn't great, dont know anything about their committee or coaching director but the clubs ongoing reputation in certain areas are not fantastic.
If any club works hard and gets quality people for both on and off court roles then they could be at the top of the tree rather than at the base every year.

Only as a training player and I don’t think you can consider him as being recruited from the 6ers to the Tigers.

Maybe so but isn’t that just good recruiting? They’d be on similar terms to most other imports running around I’m sure.

At least when Southern bought those guys in they not only had success but seem to have been able to carry it over & sustain it. They have no 6ers this year and are doing ok.
Eastern bringing in Gibbo or North bringing in Starling haven’t helped their clubs at all.

How does Woodville get out of this conversation? Didn't Mavs beat them? And Sturt Men!!

Bearcats going for 130 points Saturday night to take the annual Cricket Score Cup v Eastern

Starling and Creek coming to Mavs would never happen in a million years more from the fact they would never go there! Mavs current two imports are decent or as good as any import duo's in the comp so why are they still getting embarrassed each week? Six times this season opposition have posted 100+ points against them with Forestville pulling their pants down by 48pts scoring a total of 125.
Dont know who they play this week but its a matter of top that from every other club.

Buying players in? 2 imports? I suspect only 2 maybe 3 of the Australians at that club get paid. Similar to most other clubs in the league I would say.

#028 you must be joking! His record is dismal you must be a committee member, Jason's mother or on something.

Nice post Jase

What centrals junior coach do you speak of, not a previous president at another club???

Wasn't so much as Andy being master recruiter, the sixers boys wanted to play together in off-season and forestville was obvious choice with Doyle already there, cashed up and central location.

Culture is a big thing when recruiting any player. Forestville played Eastern on Saturday night in Mt Barker and won by 50 so what club would you pick as a potential recruit? Well done to Andy and what he stands for.

Agree about Simons, been there forever but time to make a change. Only relying on bringing in sixers for them to even compete. Without them they're down with the other bottom dwellers. Only thing is what candidates are out there?

Forestville – Andy is great and has been for a long time but maybe it’s time for a change down at Wayville
Woodville – Underperformed or just a bad list? Whitmore is one that can get the best from any team on any given night but the Warriors are super skinny in the talent pool.

Centrals – This will be up to Coach Simpson as he currently wears a lot of hats for the Lions. Improved program and a great feel again in the North so hopefully he stays put
History
South, Eastern – To quote the Madden brothers “we are done”
COY – Nyberg as this is the year of the Tiger.

Eastern – Jones has been at it a long time and wants to win. Needs better talent to get over the hurdle but could be COY if he pulls this off.
Forestville – Young group but the experienced players or those with WNBL resumes should be more dominant. Monica needs some steady veterans that can put points on the board and show leadership to this talented group of “baby ballers”

Southern – The reigning champions need to pull something out down the stretch for Coach York. Good team depth and some studs that have been underwhelming, its crunch time for the Tigers.
Woodville – Rebuilding???
Centrals – Good start early and plenty of promise but the Lions have dropped off in a big way. Not much support from their U18’s for 2019 with most of them jumping ship six months ago.
History
South – Chas is a quality coach but what is up at Panther land!
COY – BJ finally has the Rockets primed for a title
