Whatever you think of Goulding - no one deserves to be bashed by a gang - stomped on and punched in the head by multiple people - anyone involved in that part should be banned from international competition. And also the man caught on camera punching Sobey in the face.

There needs to be allowed an element of self defense here. If you have 10 men charging at you you, are entitled to defend yourself. This is what Deng was doing while Goulding was getting bashed by 20 people.

The Filipinos who ran in of the bench throwing punches from behind, need to be suspend from whatever "bush" league they play in.

Goulding needs to be sanctioned for his flopping. That started it.

Anyone who says Joel Selwood isn't a ball player probably believes Chris Goulding isn't a three point shooter.

Selwood lad ball player who draws frees from little man syndrome, Rance lad definite Goulding (more so tho when ball is dead which is plus). With any luck DJ lad may now get a run

Obviously a cut up geelong fan who was expecting more from his poor team this year. Selwood tries to draw a free kick in every situation and is not a ball player at all.

Many things to talk about here. Firstly goulding will think twice about flopping which is a good thing for basketball because like joel selwood both players objective is try to draw a free kick or foul rather than going for the ball.

Kickert should be banned for life. If a footy player did that he would get a year suspension. Kickert should get a life ban for inciting a riot.

Other than that I don't think any other player from either team should be suspended but both national teams should be banned from competing for years I don't care who the countries are.

The phillipino officials who were fighting the aussie players should have criminal charges brought against them as well as being banned for life from basketball.

That takes care of fiba punishments but now lets look at what basketball australia will do. If our cricketers were banned for 12 months for organising to rub the ball with sandpaper then basketball australia should ban the aussie players involved for life no questions.

Lastly this is the risk you take when you go to uncivilized countries which are lawless and the people don't know the difference between right and wrong.
Countries like australia should never go to 3rd world poor countries with no laws.
