Except maybe for the philo players who saved Goulding from having his head stomped into the concrete... you'll find there were about 4-5 of the philo players being excessively violent, probably put Kickert in with them.
The biggest problem was the officials and non playing staff who got involved, like the guy who hit Sobey, that's where the lengthiest suspensions should be.
Not excusing the Filipino's behaviour at all, but Kickert's had a mare here. He's over-reacted on both occasions (pre-game shove and night night elbow) and caused the ruckus.
Putting all the other madness aside, Kickerts elbow to the jaw of an opponent who was not facing him is a dog act and he should be suspended heavily. It was the exact definition of a king hit, and the 3rd man in should always be disciplined the heaviest. If the guys jaw was broken he'd be facing criminal charges.
If it was rugby league and he did that i would guess he will be looking at 10 to 12 weeks and it looks like i'm not the only one that dislikes Sobey the cocky bastard.
