James Ennis gets 2 year deal from Houston
I'm sorry but Ariza is a far better shooter and defender than James Ennis.

True for Ariza and Luc, but Capela has come into restricted free agency at the wrong time. Houston are waiting for someone else to give him an offer sheet which they plan to match, but no one has considerable money to offer, so Houston will end up signing him on a low ball 1 year contract.

Even though he denies it the Rockets new owner is trying to reduce their luxury tax obligations which why they let Ariza and Mbah a Moute walk and currently very far apart in negotiations with Clint Capela.

If they gave Ariza the $15mil that the Suns offered it would have cost them around $50-60mil after luxury taxes.

They wouldn't have been able to get close to the 15m that the Suns gave him, and still give CP3 his 40m and a decent offer to Capela. This was probably Ariza's last chance to make a decent sum, so he took it.

Ennis is OK at NBA level but he is no Ariza.
Why on why Houston did you let Ariza go????

"were would he be if he don't player in the nbl ? my guess stuck in Europe"
Why? He was a draft and stash player. Plenty of those guys play one or more seasons in Europe before coming back to the NBA. Our own Jonah Bolden looks to be another.

I wonder if the push from Sacramento came from his former teammate and coach (Drake U'U and Adam Tatalovich)

Great situation for him. Its a position of need for them and he'll have the opportunity to contribute to a contender*
*Well, a contender in a normal year anyway

Calling it now that Cairns will be playing playoffs instead of townsville.
1. Easier schedule
2. Better coached
3. Gill still with injury concerns.
4. Will bump this thread in 3 weeks time
