Why didn't the 36ers bring Shorter back?
Would have been very dissapointed if we returned him as was frustrating even before that GF gesture . Would like to see our pG with a 3 point shot.

He was friends with homicide

Boti says we have a point guard ready and he's a solid get. News coming soon.

I don't think the Sixers had much interest in bringing him back regardless, within a week of the GF finishing there was already talk he wouldn't be offered a contract for next season.

Not enough budget for him. Price went up and isn't affordable.

Shorter is now playing in korea

I thought he was handy enough, spent to much on trash talk instead concentrating on the job at hand which hurt his game.

He is better than Jordair Jett...

I thought he was pretty good for us most of the year, but unfortunately pretty good doesn't cut it. When it really mattered in game 5 of the grand final, he just wasn't able to make anything happen. Whoever we get this season has to be a guy who can take a game over or the Sixers will again fall short of a title.

Shorter was not terrible, he was solid at many things without being spectacular.
You could do better than him but also worse.
Things come at a cost, if he could come back and we can afford to improve at other aspects like shooting I wouldn't be upset.

Useful yes, but the 36ers needed more last season and they definitely need more this season!

Cos he wasn't exactly good...unless his Mum was in the crowd.
