Australia have muscled past Japan 88-52 at the 2018 FIBA Under-18 Asian Championships to advance to the semi-finals against the Philippines, but more importantly qualify for the 2019 FIBA Under-19 World Cup.

Australia and the Philippines moved straight into the quarters, and will play the winners of qualifying games. Assuming both teams win, they play each other in the semis on August 10th, according to the FIBA website.

The Emu’s made it two wins in a row after they cruised to a 107-42 victory over Bahrain at the 2018 FIBA Under-18 Asian Championships in Thailand.
Samson Froling led six Australians who scored in double figures, adding a game-high 21 points and 8 rebounds as the Emus overpowered their Asian opponents in the paint. Their superior size saw them pull down 36 offensive rebounds to just 7, while scoring 64 points to 20 inside the key on their way to a 65 point victory.

I saw in that AFL/SANFL footy mag that came in The Advertiser on Saturday that a Neil Mottram is on West Adelaide Bloods list.
The age, height (around 6'10") and 0 games played would indicate to me it's the former NBL veteran (and former 36er) Neil Mottram.
Anyone know when he made the move to footy and if he can actually play the game?
