Those ‘boys’ you’re talking about are often just a year or two away from being drafted to the NBA, which is more than most NBL players can hope for.

Sure, the NBL might rely on its physicality and intimidation, but they’ll rarely match these NBA prospects for skill or athleticism.

I know Sydney played their starters heaps, but united didn't play anyone more than half a game and are without all 3 of their imports (and their coach). Clearly using it as a pre season hit out as well they should. Plus, why would you go out to destroy these college teams? You want them to enjoy the experience and want to come back. They are exhibition games, Sydney went a bit Ivan Drago for mine
