South = Brisbane-Toowoomba-Gold Coast

Yes it is like that in QLD but won't happen in the Wait Awhile Basketball League.

Nicely said anon. It'll take some time though.

“Maybe some of the existing poor performing clubs nearby can boost their member numbers rather than establishing another club that will struggle”
Therein lies the problem as I know a poor performing club that is hell bent on reducing member numbers judging by their actions, they consider themselves exclusive.. so exclusive that no one can wants to play for them.. literally!

Establishing a new association is rather difficult. There are areas that are well serviced by existing clubs and areas that are poorly serviced. Focus on the poorly serviced areas like Ellenbrook and Armadale. Maybe some of the existing poor performing clubs nearby can boost their member numbers rather than establishing another club that will struggle to make ends meet

A new association should be formed at Pinjarra. It’s practical for other teams to travel to and they have the population around the area to support it.
If it did happen, it won’t be long before they overtake the Magic in WABL as they have just been a basket case lately, much worse than usual.
