Saturday and Sunday's NBL games averaged 65K views on 9Go

Obviously 9Go is attracting a larger audience than Fox.

How many watched the first round games on sbs last season? Pretty sure well less than 65k per game.

Early signs positive. I still want to see the figures after 1 month.

Would these numbers (if sustained) appeal to sponsors, advertisers and other corporate interest for the league?

Would these numbers (if sustained) help franchises sell tickets, mercy and sponsorships?

If yes to above questions, then it’s been successful.

Foxtel is crap.
Virtually everything they show is utter shit. It's way overpriced. And Rupert Murdoch is a scumbag who won't ever have my money.

That sounds pretty good compared to the much smaller Foxtel numbers I recall seeing mentioned around here for other games

A HOMECOMING for South Aussie Luke Schenscher is on the table after the seven footer opted out of his contract with Townsville last week.

The 29-year-old, who spent time with Chicago and Portland in the NBA, declined an option to stay with the Crocodiles for a third season and will now be one of the most sought after recruits when the NBL free agency period opens on Tuesday.

Clubs are not allowed to approach potential recruits until this date.

Sixers coach Marty Clarke said the possibility of pairing Schenscher, who played for Adelaide in the 2008-09 season, with Sixers MVP Daniel Johnson was exciting.

"I hope (his decision) means he wants to come home," Clarke said.

Make it happen SOS.

Meantime, the Sixers' attempts to reach an agreement with out of contract wing Mitch Creek have reached an impasse.

CEO Leeanne Grantham said the club had asked Creek to respond to its final offer by last Friday, but had not heard from his agent.

"We believe the opportunity we've put to Mitch - given his ability at the moment - is more than fair," she said. "He might want to try his chances on the open market. If he doesn't sign with us we'll be disappointed.

"We would have liked to have known (Friday)."

Creek has played the past two seasons with Adelaide and was the club's defensive player of the season.

Creek wants to play funny buggers? Cool see ya later buddy.

Just concentrate on trying to lure the big guns first and worry about the Mitch Creek's of the world later down the track.
