Brisbane New Import inbound
@WookieE Seeings he was informed by the GM of the Bullets, its something id be believing...

I wouldn't put too much faith in reading anything from Matty Russell, AngusH, that guy doesn't even know what's coming out of his own mouth most of the time, let alone anyone else, so definitely grain of salt...

How are United clear favourite? They struggled to beat 36ers at home and struggled to score.

I think the two import route is smart, as it allows for injury cover. But you've got to either have two imports who can score (e.g. White and Cotton, Sosa and Newbill) or some locals who are genuine threats (Goulding, Webster, Lisch, Wesley, Sobey, Bogut, Johnson, Blanchfield etc) but Brisbane have gone with role-playing locals and role-playing imports.
That said, they're 2-2 with pretty much a brand new squad, so if the new import is someone who can shift defences it has potential to make the rest of their squad, who are all good players, much more effective.

Any hints?

To fit in with their current roster, it will be a recycled import who is overpaid and doesn’t fit in at all with the playing makeup of the squad.

Much, much needed.

The comment re: not knowing what country he was from has me worried it's a gimmick signing.

As a 36ers fan I am happy with the Cadee pick up but I would have though Gibson,if we are serious about winning the championship next year would be a better pick up?
Given Crosswell is already under contract it gives us effectively 2 back up point guards. Cadee has loads of potential but IMO needs to bulk up and will be at that level in 3-4 years. Croswell is coming of a serious injury and I would not of thoguht after this signing the club will be longing at an import PG
It was last year we went hard to try and get him here so I wonder what has chnaged?
