Why are people Surprised and Hating on the Wildcats?
I was just thinking the other day how the hype around the Wildcats preseason was strange how it dropped off so much.
They were really hyped up when they first signed Kay/Norton, but then some hype died down when they signed White instead of a Prather/Conger, and then Hire/Vague instead of a 3rd import. Then when Melb/Sydney both signed big names everyone focused on them, forgetting Perth had actually put together a very nice roster that was a huge improvement on last years.
Coming into the season it felt like a lot of people really underrated them.
