It started last week. I got bored half way through and turned it off. Highlight was the "top five plays" segment, which was just the last five of the NBL's top ten, resulting in the voice-over being cut off by a commercial halfway through saying "and that's the number one play in our NBL top ten countdown" or something similar.
seemingly unwanted by the NBL the Wellington Saints feel they have outgrown the NZBL and are now looking at playing in Asia in the ASEAN Basketball League. These comments were made after going down to Auckland in the final after winning back to back titles.
Should the NBL take another look at Wellington with no strong franchise bids coming out of Brisbane and GC having issues or should they stick to their guns and hold out for another Melbourne franchise and for Brisbane to rejoin the league before looking elsewhere?
