Cedric Jackson’s body language
Bozeman is a go to scorer who's game wouldn't be effective in the NBL, much like Jeremy Kendle, Jett is a defensive role player who doesn't neccecarily shine in a lower level, plays the same at multiple levels.

And it's not like Jackson is playing D much better than Rotnei used to, which was obviously his main weakness and the reason Bevo looked elsewhere.

Yep. They just need one more shooter, that was clear from the start. Beveridge is struggling to get enough combinations that work on the back of lacking that extra guy who can spread the floor. It hasn't helped that Near hasn't been able to hit shots after being a 40% shooter in college.

"If you watch back his last season at the Breakers he didn't look overly engaged either and relied on players like Boucher.."
Agree Cedric's always had that look about him from time to time, but Boucher retired in 2013 and Jackson's last season in NZ was 2016!

As a Hawks supporter i'm more pissed off with Jett.I think if we had Rotnei Clarke next to Jackson we would be much better off.I also think playing the pre
season tournament in Malaysia gave us a false sense that this team was good.

His body language reminds me of Lebron sometimes. Will hustle his butt off at times and go full pedal to the metal - but has a tendency to not get back on defense/not scramble back etc.

If you watch back his last season at the Breakers he didn't look overly engaged either and relied on players like Boucher (I think it was) would stay back on defence and guard two players and Cedric would try and lead the break, I said this years ago... it was an embarrassment that the league's best player had an apathetic attitude and was airballing so many 3s and free throws.
But he plays for the Hawks and I want to see them survive and thrive and he is a big part of making that happen this season so c'mon Cedric get your shit together mate.

Watching the Hawks games in that preseason tournament in Malaysia it was clear Cedric was physically and especially mentally done. Just about any other team he would've been cut by now but the thing likely saving him at the Hawks is their lack of finances.

Jackson thrived in a below par comp. Now he has to play against decent players and he's being shown up.

Cedric’s body language was awful when he played with United as well. Even if he was injured as has been reported, it was the way he was holding himself that led to his dismissal.
Illawarra took a risk to see if his United stint was a blip but he’s still clearly out of shape and his poor attitude remains. He was worth a shot considering his pedigree as one of the elite players in the league in recent years but it’s now clear he’s cooked. This will be his last gig in the NBL

It's a violation, I'm told. Can anyone point me to the rule that outlines that pls? have looked through FIBA rules without finding anything.
