New Zealand v Perth Nov 23
How about the HJs plug in the match report. Top notch

I'm expecting another 0/2 weekend here in Breakerworld.
You do realise you're using another term, although archaic now, for Perthworld? Our WNBL team was originally named Breakers.

NZ did themselves no favours in this game but at least showed some fight and heart to get back in the game and force overtime.
I'm expecting another 0/2 weekend here in Breakerworld.

This game just pretty much proves the point.
Obviously its NOT home cooking
Obviously the NBL doesn't want the Cats to roll NZ at home, if anything they would want to keep the rivalry strong.
If you want to blame someone or something, blame the Cats for buying the best team, and blame the system that allowed it to happen.
Kay is hands down the best PF in the comp right now.
No team should have a PG as good as Norton coming off the bench,
Cotton should not even be in this league.
Return game will be interesting, as Trev rode his stars pretty hard.

The Perth fan sitting courtside right near Abercrombie seemed to enjoy it very much when he got that tech lol

For the most part that was a great tussle. So much energy when these two teams play.
Simple fact is that with starters out, Perth are playing smarter D, and its working for them.
Yes, there were a few unlucky calls against NZ. Long unlucky to foul out on that one.
But there were also LOTS of stupid bonehead fouls by NZ. Webster, already on 4 fouls, wraps both arms around his opponent. Yeah it was soft, but it was also stupid. Abercrombe same deal, and then tops it off with a tech.

Norton has always been a gun. His play isn't suprising

Norton has slotted into Martin's role as seamlessly as AD has slotted into Dazz's role.

Referees do love Adelaide, but without doubt there number 1 crush is Perth.
Just game after game after game referees do carry them.

Adelaide are carried by the refs more than Perth.. it is just that Perth win regardless of how the game is called, and for the Sixers often it still isn't enough to overcome their deficiencies.

Yeah if NZ had won that game it would have been empty at Perth Arena for the rest of the season.

Perth get the biggest crowds so it is in the best interests of the league to have them up in the ladder.
You think LK is in this thing for the love of it or for a return on investment?
Perth just dont lose foul counts despite being the most physical team in the league

I don't know how much different he looks, but he has more around him to work with so his production is certainly better.
Huge game from him.

Yep, lets ignore the numerous fouls committed to stop the clock. Lets also ignore the brainless turnovers in the overtime period from NZ.
It's like one of those Bigfooty match threads where all people concentrate on is the officials.
If you blame the officials for a loss, whether it be basketball, football or effing table tennis, you are moron. It's that simple.
Players make a sh*tload more errors than a ref in a game, yet they get a pass.

Anything is possible when the referees have your backs.
Out of all the pro sports in Australia, i have never in mu life seen a sport where the referees ADORE one of the teams as the NBL referees ADORE the wildcats.

That should make the foul count look a tiny bit more respectable, nice call.

How has Weeksy got away with carrying the ball on every possession throughout his entire career?

Come on weeks get your 5th add to the foul out list

J redefining hypocrisy complaining about the one call all night that didn't go Perth's way. Meanwhile the 5th breaker fouls out.

Probably would've got the call if the scoreline had been closer.

I'd tell the ref to f off if he fouled me out on that garbage too, to be fair.

Pith too minie wipins bro

LOL Wildcats with 37 FT attempts
No wonder the TV ratings are embarrassing.
Who wants to watch those amatuer morons called referees blow the whistle every 20 secs. No wonder the TV have not taken off in this league.
I cant wait till LK bails out

Just saw foul count. 32-17 against the Breakers
What have the refs been like? Fair or away cooking?

Agree anon, like most other people watching outside of Perth, I imagine.

Refs want to wrap this thing up.

Man, shoot the effin ball Shea.

Seen this before.

Yeah, my fave commentary duo. I hope Cotton milks 3 FTs here post-timeout.

Norton can't believe the ref had the audacity to call a foul on him.

Wow, that Long call was BS. Webster, fair enough, he grabbed him. Soft, but OK.
