Out of all the major sports in the world

What was atrocious by NZ was the fact they refused to use Long in the paint unless it was for an alley-oop pass or he got offensive boards. The guy is a beast when not in foul trouble, and should be putting up 20pts per game if they used him correctly. Would love him as our 3rd import and send Jervis packing.

No one obviously saw the 2016 afl season when the western bulldogs were handed a premiership by the afl bosses to show all the fans that hey a battling club can still win a premiership from 7th position. Most lopsided free kick differential in history that season for the bulldogs.

No I don't agree.

You have :

Corey Webster.
Thomas Abercrombie.
Shawn Long who is probably set to be all-NBL 2nd team at least and a HUGE improvement from Rakeem Christmas.
Moore and Richard are about on par with Sosa and Newbill, I would say a little bit better even.
Then there is Most Improved Illi.
And you got back a guy called Tai Wesley.

Together with serviceable pieces like Agent 97 and Ngatai, this is overall a GOOD team, a playoff team as a minimum.

Majok is for some reason under-utilised despite NZ needing size.

Breakers were living by the 3-point shot, but unlike the Breakers in the last game, we didn't foul the shooter every time.

What's sad is that people can't comprehend just how nonsensical it is to look at a stat and allege bias.

It's like the stats that prove drinking Gatorade causes muscular injuries.
You have to think about what it is you're actually alleging?
Does it makes sense that electrolytes cause muscle injuries?
Or that consumers are more likely to be injured in strenuous sports?

Cats have one player who has a problem with fouls, and hes getting reduced minutes because of it. NZ ALL seem to have a problem.

People want to scream "home cooking"
But you're claiming a greater advantage for Perth when playing in NZ, so how does that work?

Nothing to do with it. Need to perform better as a team. Having said that, two close losses and another that was close to it with a foul count of 78-40 against them in the three games indicates the Breakers aren't far off Perth. The Wildcats know how to play the NBL refereeing that's for sure. Embarrassing for a pro comp.

Even if they are favoured, I don't really mind because they deserve to win games. They play really smart but effective basketball. Until they don't deserve to win games, I really couldn't care whether they are looked after or not.
