I agree with Luc's comments on Magbegor. She is an excellent prospect, though the "next Lauren Jackson" hype she was getting a while back was a bit over the top.

Latest mock has smith dropping back to 11(Atlanta), Magbegor moving back to 13(Phoenix), and Mangakahia moving up to 19(L.A). Nakkasoglu coming in at 36(Seattle).

Worst thing Ezi could have done for her basketball development going to Melbourne.
Gets a good degree but uconn would have made her a much better player over 3 years.

Who's not getting a look in?
Yeah, I'd like an answer to that one as well. Not holding my breath.
Whoever they are, I'd also love to hear who's holding them back. There's no shortage of roster spots around the WNBL and NCAA Division 1 for anyone who's anywhere near Ezi's level.
Most of the hype to this point has been justified based on what she produced as a junior. That production doesn't just magically continue at senior level though, as we've seen with countless other young "next big thing" players over the years. She needs to grow her game plenty more. But whilst I disagree with people who have already anointed her "the future of the Opals" I think it's pretty clear that she has potential and is one of our better prospects.
I don't think Ezi has improved her draft rating this season though. I'm guessing that WNBA scouts would have liked what they saw in Tenerife, but have probably cooled a little based on her WNBL production to date. (I still doubt she drops part the 2nd round though)

Who's not getting a look in?

Magbegor will be stashed like Tupaea and mijovic. They are still working with Musina from Russia.
Wallace is the only one that has a shot at playing time the season after next.

Yeah, after the top 10 or so (depending on how deep the draft is), teams will start looking at potential as much as current production, and Ezi has the advantage of youth. If a team doesn't have an immediate need that can be filled with their pick then a young foreigner who isn't necessarily ready yet is not a bad move because the team can hold their rights as long as the player doesn't show up.
Phoenix has pick #13 and Sandy Brondello has shown a tendency to sign aussies, so a few people think that could be the Ezi pick.
(Phoenix also has pick #8 and some people think Ezi could be taken with that as well. I don't follow college ball enough to really know how realistic either of those are. #8 would be a big call because it's their first pick, but #13 doesn't seem far fetched)
She's far from dominant in the WNBL but on the other hand I think that what she does now would translate pretty well to the WNBA.

Pretty sure Nakkasoglu will miss out but mangakahia should make it next year.

its a 'mock'draft for a reason lol
Smith and Magbegor you think would have a good chance, but thats all

The draft rules for international pros are different than those for US college players

She was born in 98. Most of the girls in the draft are 95-96.

A decision on the future of the Gold Coast Blaze has been delayed until tomorrow.
If they played on but lost Worthington, Gibson and Petrie (hypothetically), could they recruit from what's left to be competitive?
