Kings v Bullets
Good win this one, I think. Both teams dialed up the D in the 2nd half (or maybe more accurately, neither team could score against a zone), and Sydney's defense won out in the end. Lisch had one of those strange invisible games on the box score, but I thought he did a great job defensively along with Bogut and they were the main reason we stopped the Bullets' runs even when we weren't putting points up consistently.
Probably the best Bairstow game yet in his NBL career too, I'd say. With another import on the way, I really wish we'd already played the Bullets a few more times before today...

Find someone that loves you the way Jick loves Cameron Bairstow.

Brisbane guards 3 of 16 3's. No wonder they struggled offensively.Never got to the line either.
Sydney must have done the biz on D.
Brisbane has got to find a way to score when 3's dry up!

Hahaha Jick you're a bloody legend

A fantastic +1 from Bairstow. I've really enjoyed his contributions today.

Bogut coaching in time outs again.

What questions will be answered in this game?
Will Wear show his rare improved form? Or will he return to being the bitterest tasting of this season’s crop of avocado imports?
Will Bogut again grab hold of the coaching reigns?
Will Patterson play like a man who’s just lost his dog, or will be his own beast?
Can Cadee handle Randle?
Will Brisbane suffer time zone lag?
Will the Bullet Train power through Sydney at full speed?
As usual, so many questions.

What about those with open home commitments?

Everyone is entitled to a sleep in on a Saturday morning.
This is a big game though. Gibbo knocks up game 400 in the NBL. The plucky Tasmanian has worked hard in the NBL and consistently punches above his weight. Worth his weight in apples.
There are some exciting matchups today and Brisbane have shown they can take on the top 3 teams without fear (mind you we do have to ask how long Perth can be considered a top 3 team) Lamar Patterson regularly shows up in beast mode and he will need that today. Hodgson is showing the form Joey anticipated of him at the Sixers and Vukona is the terminator. The only way to stop him would be to lower him slowly into a vat of molten steel.
Sydney are top of the table for a reason. Dripping with talent, if they keep it simple, then they get the job done. When they go into "Harlem Globetrotter" mode and try to be too fancy that's when they lose games.
While the Bullets have the motivation of Gibbo's 400th to spur them on, Sydney at home should be the party poopers.

Jack off and Ishit are on holidays. F D H.

BUZZASSSSSSSSSSS

It was reported by Boti that these were the dates for the League pre-season.
Last year it was held on the Gold Coast and Brisbane
Has this been confirmed yet, maybe in Perth at the new venue? or Melbourne to promote a new team for next year?
I would like to book tickets early to get flights etc
It's good to go because you see all the teams in one location over three days
