Brendan Teys 200th Game.
Yeah credit to the man. Honest toiler

Says the bloke who probably stinks up a social league.

You understand that I'm not that bad?
OK...but then....
I want the Sixers to lose in a bloodbath. Mundine attends Hawks games doesn't he? Maybe he'll get knocked out again
A bit of a cockhead, larrikin, wanker. However I do know my stuff.
An example of you 'knowing your stuff' includes describing the brief moments that Teys played on James Ennis as....
Best NBL individual matchup story of the last decade imo (This

Do we have a truce, lovebroker? You don't snipe at me and I don't snipe at you.

I posted here on your thread, first comment, to show you that I've moved on after you said in another thread that I should kill myself by carbon monoxide poisoning.
I never said you 'should do' anything.
Can't believe you are still hung up on that.
Grow the F up.

As an individual match-up story (narrative, as in something you would write an article on), yes it is the best one over the past decade imo. If you can think of a better matchup story, please give me your thoughts and we can create discussion. On the guarding of Ennis, you are the one going extra with things like who guarded him 'most' and pushing the idea that I changed my mind by first saying Teys was primary matchup and then saying Gibson. I encourage you to read again.

I'm not instigating anything, all our discord starts with you mate. So if you don't have a problem with me then vice versa. Do we have a truce? It is the desirable outcome

Nah for real, lovebroker, you must be blinded by hate because you're wrong about who guarded Ennis most during the series. It was Gibson.
Who am I hating on exactly?
So first it was Teys, and now it's Gibbo.
Wow.
I remember Teys guarded Ennis coming out of half-time in one of the games and it was a joy to watch.
So Teys guarded Ennis coming out of half time is considered "Best NBL individual matchup story of the last decade"?
Are you thick?

Yeah he worked at a cinema in Townsville while he was with the Crocs

You're referring to the famous fastbreak charge? Ennis had a full head of steam and it was none other than B Teys who put his life on the line? Yes indeed it was

Was it Teys that took the charge in the grand final game in Adelaide that led to Ennis breaking a chair, or am I misremembering that?

I wonder if that is why Joey started him?
Bit like U12 "it's Brendan's birthday today team, so he'll be taking the jump ball"

Care to respond, love?

Know what you're talking about and don't be such a rooster.
Teys is a legit defensive, glue guy, and there is value enough in that to be employed

Lovebroker = Teys ?

Haha still a wanker I see, loveboker

What I loved was that he guarded James Ennis in the Grand Final series a few years ago..
Creek was the person who was matched up on Ennis most.
The unathletic undersized white kid
What has white got to do with it?
Best NBL individual matchup story of the last decade imo.
Again...Creek was the person who was matched up on Ennis most.
Not the best looking bloke I've ever seen either
It's good to know men's looks are important to you in basketball.

What I loved was that he guarded James Ennis in the Grand Final series a few years ago. The unathletic undersized white kid from Reading Cinemas in Townsville against the NBA draft pick monster who was the king of the league. Best NBL individual matchup story of the last decade imo. Did a decent job on him too, from memory.
Much respect for Teys. One thing tho, he should have shot a better clip from deep over the course of his career.
Not the best looking bloke I've ever seen either

Mavs-Sabres
Women: The Mavs are gaining momentum and the Sabres, despite being down on form this season, are no easybeats. Both are on the rise and the Mavettes aiming off 5th. When was the last time Southern supporters barracked for a Sturt win? Mavettes to smash the Sabres like a guitar.
Men: A couple of weeks ago the Sabres would have been raising their crownies to each other anticipating a % boosting round and planning to chat on the bench during the game about more important things like the virtues of green tea. One win does not make a season, but the Sabres won’t find time to clear the bench as much as they would have hoped as they go all Bruce Willis putting the Mavs away.
Rockets-Eagles
Women: Women’s MOTR. North have the 3 point split and host the apple crunchers. Tonight’s winner is likely to hold 2nd spot so the refs will be under more pressure than a blind man walking with a white cane through a Taliban minefield. Eagles have got Thompson with one hand on the Halls, and North boasts a well balanced team with any player able to step up on the night. This will be tighter than a fish’s bum and the Council should anticipate noise complaints from Hillcrest residents (it could even rival a Justin Bieber/1 Direction concert). This game deserves to go to OT and I think that the Eagles will pip North at the post, because we all know Forestville and wins go together like Roxby Downs and protestors.
Men: Probably should be Men's MOTR, but has been pipped at the post. You can't tell me spectators won't get their value tonight! Feagles by 18 last time and both sitting equal top on games won. Every board, every shot, every possession counts in this game. This isn't a game of basketball, this is a fight for supremacy with the loser licking their wounds for a rematch in finals. Feagles to double dack Norf at home and take it 2-0 !
Panthers-Lions
Women: Panthers season over. Lions confirmed finalists. Lions to clear the bench and let the young Lionesses roam free.
Men: Panthers in all sorts of disarray and Lions have proved time and time again they can take it to the top teams, yet fall at the final hurdle. Surely they won’t fall tonight . . . . or can they? No even Alby Mangels could botch this adventure.
Flames-Warriors
Women: Another easy win is there for the Norwood Lightning. Hopefully the blood can be hosed off the floor before the men’s game.
Men: GOTY. The Flames have come from no-where and the Warriors have nonchelontly drifted through this season winning the games that don’t matter and dropping the games that do. 5th spot is on the table. Will Norwood steal it from the Warriors? Last time I saw something equally audacious was the 1982 panty raid of the Annesley Boarding House. Norwood at home seem to have the edge, but games like these need champions to stand up and be counted. Who will stand tall for their team tonight? Nor-should make finals.
Tigers-Bearcats
Women: This is a must win game for the Tigers. The Bearcats should be easy prey on the Morphett Vale savannah, so in order to stay in finals they need to go for the jugular early. A loss tonight and making finals will be as hard as putting socks on an octupus. Let’s face it, next round they face the apple crunchers, then it’s Safari Cup.
Men: Tigers look like they played their final this year and knocked the Warriors out of finals, but the Bearcats will be hurting this week after choking up a win to their favourite neighbours. Two big scalps in a row could be a too big to ask.
