Also, Perth Arena turned off the air-con over Adelaide’s bench and installed heaters in their dressing room.

You won't like what you see, Udog.
All the foul calls when Perth's way as usual, especially the free throws. It was pretty sickening. The Cats were out-played and no doubt would have lost if the 3 blind mice in red had called things evenly instead of bailing out their buddies every possession.

Here I am! I went to bed at half time because of the late game time and having an early start at work. First quarter looked good. Second looked tired and lazy from 36ers. Second half I'd say they went to sleep when I did? I'll watch it later.

I wonder if Udog blames his teachers because he never graduated high school, or if he blames his parents for not aborting him.
I think what the Anon meant to say was...
Upon some self-reflection, Udog recognised that the Sixers had 3 more fouls than Perth during that game and shot 7 more FT's.
The proposed trip for Mr and Mrs Udog to Planned Parenthood whilst ont he surface desirable, needn't happen now.

So, any updates on Norton?

Was Froling always such a flog during juniors in QLD, or has he grown into this around the Sixers? Such a sook.

I wonder if Udog blames his teachers because he never graduated high school, or if he blames his parents for not aborting him.

"As always it will come down to how many biased home calls keep the Cats in the game."
Nailed it Udog.

Can someone check on Udog please?

Wait, Perthworld is now criticising Gleeson for apparently signing elsewhere (presumably for more money) after spending months bagging him and calling the club weak for not getting rid of him sooner. You can’t even up keep up with your own bullshit.

Very disappointing result given Brissie gave us a free pass to catch up.
But this was one of those shooting nights.
But we're not out of playoffs by any means.

Hey Adelaide see you in the playoffs. Yeah, nah maybe not.
Oh and Wiley as good as JC? Pffftt. Nobody had to remind JC to play 4 quarters.

No fight during that 2-8 run. Seems like we're back on track for a semi final exit now though.

Maybe, doubtful though. It is Perth after all. They fight and bite, they fight and fight and bite. Fight fight fight, bite bite bite

Because it would've been yet another game in which they blew a significant lead.

True, but if Ware makes that layup after two Barlow threes they'd be crushed mentally going forward.

We beat the Kings in Sydney by 20 then lose in Pert by 20.
40 point turnaround fair effort that.

Perthworld, the cats had turned it around before Casper's missed lay-up. The fact that they were in the game against United shows they already had some mojo back

Gleeson gonna Gleeson. Less money around now so apparently off to China. Figures.

Eh, it’s easy to overstate this game imo. Very poor showing from Adelaide and a good showing by Perth. If these teams played tomorrow the score line could easily be reversed.

Up 20 with minutes to go why the fuck is Cotton still in the game with another game this weekend. What the hell Gleeson

Can we nominate the Reid-Homicide pairing for a Logie? It beats most of the other shit that passes for Australian TV.

Selfless free flowing basketball worked for Joey at the Bullets because he had a team of veterans. Now he has young players and it doesn't quite work as well.

Massive Adelaide fan but the are lazy and soft. Especially when calls and balls going the other way. Tonight they were slow and weak. No fight at all. Just rolled over. Slow and weak

Sixers can't stop teams when they get on a run as they don't have the necessary discipline to play selfless basketball.

@dione NBL basketball is more freestyle than the regimented European style, especially the 36ers. It is pretty poor but it is what it is - plus their coach is apparently leaving so care factor may be lower.

Luckily for us tonight has shown that both the Bullets and Sixers are pretenders.
Cotton to Homicide was classic. #playoffs

Does McVeigh have ADHD?
Funnily enough I asked the same thing in the last Sixers game thread:
https://www.hoops.com.au/forum/44639-adelaide-v-perth-jan-17/#p728806

Ugh.
Hurts.

Wildcats are back.

A real fizzle of a game for Conger tonight. I thought his couple of terrible selfish possessions in the 2nd Q really derailed the Sixers tonight while they were looking like they might be on the verge of blowing the game open.

It's weird. I hate Perth SO much after a lifelong rivalry... but I feel like if we don't win, I want Perth to smash the rest.

Does McVeigh have ADHD?

We got beat.
Straight up.
Respect to the winners.

Perth turned it around. Respect the old enemy. Well played. Hope you guys go deep in the finals.

Perth's ball movement and speed of their offense has noticeably improved from previous weeks. They're throwing skip passes, getting into sets quicker, cutting harder and generally playing an higher tempo offensive game.
It's working great for them and they're getting great open looks and hitting.
Much harder Perth team to defend when they are playing like that (Versus the slowed ground out offense they've been playing recently).

Perth are dominating but it’s easier as a supporter to loss with your best team on the court.

Anons aren't human to me. Ever wath American History X?
It's your jaw on the curb.
And my boot behind your head.

Hate losing, but respect a solid enemy.

Gee wiz Wright, definitely stick with this lineup for another 5 minutes and see how you go.
