I think this goes two ways. I would be embarrassed to be BJ or the Melbourne players who wouldn’t shake hands parents. I would hope all my children will grow up to show good sportsmanship.

I have just read there was extra bravado post-match which I missed as I turned off as soon as it was over.

I still haven't seen it, only those 2 hard fouls at the end of the game.

Let's be clear first...what was the sum of what B Johnson did? 2 'hard' common fouls, not unsportsmanlike or technical ones.

Even if he took Joey's word to go after a United player, he didn't do a very good job of 'going through' anyone.

While Conger needs to ramp it up, Adelaide development player Bijan Johnson probably needs to dial it back just a touch.
I mean, I’m all for young guys coming and bringing energy – and you certainly can’t play scared – but you’ve got to show some respect while you're at it.

I remember B Johnson starting some agro in another game earlier this season. That must be his role.

I feel like the agents have some good paying gigs for some of our players and most likely the coach. Are we trying to lose these games for an early end to the season, so we can get to our next contract?

We threw that game away by trying to compete with our bench. We are in win or bye, it’s not good resting for our early exit.

It’s funny that Froling mentioned in the press conference about a need to be classy. He should have signed with another team. B Johnson is a punk - the way he carried on for someone who only gets on in blowouts was unbelievable.

6ers did well to level it at half time, but then United took over, & waaaay too good in the 4th.
The 23 point drubbing in itself isn't a problem for me, but their lack of discipline & disgraceful behaviour in closing the game out was a disgrace.
In contrast (many years ago), the 6ers went down to Joey's Bullets by 30 points, but they never gave up, they played hard to the end, which I respect.
The scuffle (initiated by that tosser with bricky hanky hairdo) during the player handshake , goes against everything that is sport.

They are going to need big dollars to keep Sobey, Johnson is signed, Drimic hasn’t really stood up and very streaky shooter. Froling is an asset but needs a coach of discipline to keep him in check and stop telling the world how good he is when he’s shown glimpses but far to inconsistent and gets caught out defensively. Deng always seems to do ok to good but doesn’t get much time, has potential. Moore will be good import and Wiley is fine but again needs strong coach. Not sold on any of the rest.

Venky Jois's bucket looked a sweet move. Looking forward to seeing more of his game in the NBL.

Last week I thought the Sixers might scrap in to finals but that is out of the question now and I expect there will be some serious shake up for the Sixers, and unfortunately not in a good way.
