In 2006, the USA lost to:

Then we have the competitive games.....

2004 -

They beat Greece by 6 points.
They beat Australia by 10 points.

2006 -

They beat Puerto Rico by 11 points.

They beat Italy by 9 points.

They beat Brazil by 2 points.

2008 -

They beat Australia by 7 points.

They beat Spain by 11 points.

2010 -

They beat Spain by 1 point.

They beat Brazil by 2 points.

They beat Russia by 10 points.

2012 -

They beat Brazil by 11 points.

They beat Argentina by 6 points.

They beat Lithuania by 5 points.

The point is that they have been beaten plenty of times, and they have also come close to losing several other times. And several other times they were played tough.

Team USA is overrated, due to the media hype that they get.
