Given it's a public holiday and therefore people being at work isn't a concern, it makes sense to have it tip off at the same time as eastern-states games.

Night games in every other state have tipped off at 4.50pm WA time all season.
Any relevance to the topic of Perth home games there, or just random trivia?

Yeah, I take back the excessive "?!!??!?!" and just leave it at WTF? because that's still a bizarre tip-off time. Hopefully it is moot.

Hey Hawking wanker. Clearly hit wrong key! The reality is Perth are behind! You highlighted that beautifully. Thanks.

4.50pm perth time it is 7.50pm eastern.

Brisbane have already booked the plane tickets for Sunday,
For their end of season trip to Bali.

"4.50 AEDT is 1.30 Perth time Einstein."
Thanks Hawking. I honestly had no idea that the time difference to Perth was 3 hours & 20 minutes.

4.50 AEDT is 1.30 Perth time Einstein.

4:50pm - WTF ??!!??!?!
Should the Bullets fight back and win Semi-Final Game Two this Saturday 2 March, this will mean a third Semi-Final will be required to determine who will qualify for the Grand Final Series. The tip-off time for this game has been updated and Semi-Final Game 3 is scheduled for 4:50pm Monday, 4 March at RAC Arena and will go on sale to members immediately after Semi-Final Game Two

Cadee has the right connections, haven’t you heard Heal tell us how good he is over and over.
Is it the respect people in the league have for Robbie Cadee? Otherwise I really don't understand it.

Brisbane made the finals, when at the start of the season I think many (including myself) thought they wouldn't.
Granted they made a lot of changes along the way, but they made it. Perhaps that was their goal for this season, and if so, kudos.
How they managed to bring in 3 imports, and still have Spuddee starting will remain a mystery.
If they can maintain their core, clean some of the crap off their bench, and get a decent import backcourt in place, they could really threaten next season.

I didn't compare him to Goulding, I said he should start on the bench like Goulding.

"Goulding starts in every other team"
I agree he should not be compared to spudee but there's no way in hell he starts over bryce cotton

Please don’t compare Cadee with Goulding, there not in the same post code. Goulding still plays 30 plus minutes and can defend. Goulding starts in every other team, it’s a bad example. Probably should compare him to Hooley or Adnam, that’s his level. Cadee has the right connections, haven’t you heard Heal tell us how good he is over and over.

If Cadee is your starting PG you are going to have a bad time.
Why/How does he keep finding himself in that situation year after year. He needs to put into the Goulding coming of the bench role and stay there.. or go to Illawara/Cairns (no offence).
Te Rangi showed up proving why he was MIP and 6th man also ... smh

I don't think Kendle is trash, he is at least aggressive and looks to put points on the board, which is more than you can say for Cadee. Kendle is also a better defender than Cadee, which while also isn't saying much is a significant enough given Cotton is on the other team.
The Cadee/Gliddon backcourt looks good against Chinese Taipei but looked shaky as hell as an NBL backcourt even before 2018-19 kicked off, and at this stage all it's clear to me that on a good team in this league Gliddon should be no better than your 3rd option on offense, and Cadee should be playing 8-14 minutes off the bench.

"Perth have a super advantage playing at home because of the time difference. Is it any surprise teams fade out in the last quarter when it is about 11pm-12am according to their body clocks."
Tornado, Brisbane don't have the same time difference as other eastern states cities, this time of year. They don't even have as big a differential as Adelaide, who beat Perth in Perth, at night, in last year's semi finals with a 20 minute difference in relative tip-off time.
Moreover, Brisbane scored 50 points in the second half of their Round 5 game in Perth, which would have finished around 10:30-11 pm (it tipped off 30 minutes earlier than last night's game).
Given this sort of background, I think it's not reasonable to attribute their second half performance to the time differential, even in part.

I'm not a Brisbane supporter, nor am I saying it is why Brisbane lost, 4 points in a quarter is inexcusable!
Just merely pointing out that Perth have an added home court advantage that others don't have due to time differential - especially night games.

So much for all those DOPEY posts about how the mighty Cats would miss the playoffs. Bullets looked scared and out of their depth

Heavy artillery

Is this the latest excuse? Brisbane were sleepy?

Perth have a super advantage playing at home because of the time difference. Is it any surprise teams fade out in the last quarter when it is about 11pm-12am according to their body clocks.

Blinkered people, that would be Lyons 4 point play.

Is Spudee Lemanis' love-child?
Only plausible explanation.
Really hope that Perth don't ease up (nor get overconfident) in game 2. It will be good to finish this in two and get a break.
Great to see our bench getting a run, but gees they were unproductive.
Wagstaff, gees we need some kind of thermometer. He's always been a bit inconsistent, but his swings between hot and cold are getting extreme. Hopefully he'll be game-winner in game 2.

I still can't believe they had Caddee alongside Bogut, Ware and Cotton prompting the finals in Melbourne during the week lol.
I felt Perth looked like a pretty well oiled machine for most of the first half, but didn't capitalize enough and missed some easy shots. Not too surprised it ended in a blow out.
Bullet train well and truely derailed in that last quarter.

Why did Lemanis allow Cadee almost 23 mins of playing time when clearly his head was not in the game?
Give Kendle more than 6 mins ffs (and I actually think Kendle is trash).

Lochie Read said game 2 starts at 1pm? Really? I thought it starts at 2pm.
Brisbane time

2 pretty disappointing games tonight.
Think we are all just gonna have to wait for per v Mel

Agreed Zodiac.

This is on the 36ers though allowing a team like Brisbane to get into the playoffs.

As a Kings fan I can confidently state that Cadee will probably hit 5 threes in a row in the last 2 minutes with the game out of reach.

Thing is, if J-C-3 ain't giving you buckets, at least you know he's locked in on D /s
