Watching NZ NBL in Australia
watching NZ NBL should they get a second Nbl team

Moller 27p 17r 3a 1t/o 2s 1b
Nichols 30p 5r 5a 3 t/o
Bilups 26p 8r 1t/o 5 fouls.
Lucky win imo, some of huskies defence was ordinary. I’d say kings would be happy see Moller rotating through the 3/4, he Nichols came good to win the game.

The Tribe app (iTunes app store, not sure about Android) also livestreams the games and provides livestats for the NZNBL, if anyone wants to keep a closer eye on the league.

Tomorrow's 2 pm local time (12 pm AEST) game is the Canterbury Rams vs. Southland Sharks in Invercargill.
NBL players for the Sharks:
Alex Pledger
Jarrad Weeks
Mitch McCarron
Todd Blanchfield
And for the Rams:
Emmett Naar
Adam Gibson (one game replacement for Cam Gliddon)
The Sharks are coached by Judd Flavell (previously assistant coach at NZ Breakers, now assistant coach at the Phoenix). If you're keeping an eye out for NBL talent playing during the offseason, this is one game to tune in to.

the first game had a crowd 372 people

Venky Jois had a big debut last night as he led Rangers to a 86-75 win against the Jets. 24 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.

Enjoyed watching the NZ NBL post season last year. With so many Aussies playing, I definitely see myself tuning in... Particularly to catch Naar and Grida.

Hopefully the streaming is of good quality.
Really looking forward to seeing Dan Grida's development

The Taipans' coach Fearne runs a dour defensive unit and outgoing centre Ian Crosswhite was a part of that. Incoming scorer Cam Tragardh can put points up quickly but isn't renowned for his defence.
The league this year sees a few strong frontcourt groups including Pledger/Hudson/Vukona/Boucher, Knight/Redhage/Wagstaff, and Schenscher/Johnson/Petrie. Cairns' combo of Tragardh, Loughton, Edwards and Rychart look as solid as any other on paper.
Can Fearne make the new combination work?
