Kenyon Martin Jr skipping college, going pro
Taurean Prince and Denzel Valentine also in the same draft as Buddy Hield, Frank Kaminsky the year before

"D2.0 I can't remember the last lottery pick that did four years of college"
"If you knew that you were never going to make it to the NBA and that $1M payday, and that your best hope was bumming around the other leagues of the world until your 30's, then it would make sense not to waste 4 years playing for free in college."

Not American lit.
Communications Studies- that’s the course.

Interesting...
I sit unusual?? We're talking about it because of Next Stars, but are their kids that do this every year?
What is the thinking behind it?
Are these kids that would struggle academically at college?
Are they looking for valid alternative pathways to the NBA, or they just trying to maximise their career earnings??

Different I guess if you were academically strong, and could turn that free eduction into a valuable degree and therefore a career. But struggling through a degree in American Literature, with 2.01 GPA probably not worth it.

could the NBL be a possible destination for this famous name?
Remember when the son of the NBA All Time assist leader played in the NBL?
That was a valuable lesson that name means nothing.

After watching him yesterday, he reminds me alot of Rajon Rondo.
Given he made the world select u18 team, has he attracted any nba interest?
