Can Bowen move from a 2-way to a regular contract?
Interesting that the Pacers sign Bowen, then invite Gleeson along to SL. Could be somebody their is interested in the NBL.
I think Bowen will be somewhat of a litmus test.
Going back, prior to his troubles and NBL stint, some touted him as a 5-start prospect. I don't follow enough to say how accurate that was, but his time with the Pacers will be telling.
Will they be impressed with his maturity, development, and work-rate?
(Or will they conclude that the NBL (ie Gaze) ruined him? :-()
For this year, I am so glad that the two signings so far have gone to struggling teams. Should definitely be a boost.
Hopefully we'll see more.
