"This tops it all: Darryl McDonald and his son Derrick played together at the Tigers even spending a few minutes of an NBL game together on court. It was a shame junior blew the alleyoop pass from dad. What a great moment regardless."
That was one of the most memorable failed plays in Tigers history (the other being Warrick Giddey missing a 3 right at the end of 97 Grand final). Wish it had have connected.
Derrick plays with the Tigers NBL1 team at the moment which is good to see

did we all miss Shawn and Arron Bruce....

"Mark and Stephen Whitehead"
Mark didn't get much of a chance to play but was a better athlete than his brother. Stephen was just better at everything else

"As far as I know Sam and brad aren't related."
And I don't think they even have the same spelling of last name.
Sam Mackinnon and Brad Mckinnon from memory?

Ian and Bruce Andrews.
Ian played for Sydney Bruce for Illawarra.

Mark and Stephen Whitehead

There was also an Opal with a brother who experienced a learning disability. Their parents didn’t realise that there was such an opportunity for him. The selectors/coaches of the men’s team took an immediate interest in him.
My recollection is a bit sketchy, but I think he would have been selected for Barcelona Paralympics (1996). I think he was Vic based, so I never met him.

Weren’t there Ruscoe brothers who played NZ NBL long ago? Matt and ???
And I agree that Stan Hill had better skills than Steven Adams

and I vaguely recall a set of brothers playing for Hobart Tassie Devils in the 1980s - Stanwix?Brennan, Darren and Warren Stanwix.

Wheeler- Jason and Brett
Cedar- Chris and Michael
Dalton- Brad, Mark & Karen
Brogan- Michelle and Dean
Bairstow- Cameron and Stephanie
Can we count:
Maker- Thon and Matur???

Sam and Tom Daly.

As far as I know Sam and brad aren't related.

Ben and Jeff Dowdell (did Ben ever actually play NBL, or did he go straight from college to AFL?)
Michael and Chris Cedar

thinking about this made me realise there are a few father son combinations who've played NBL as well. I wonder if we've had a grandfather-father-son combo yet? I don't think so but that'd be something.
There're also a few brother-sister combos across NBL-WNBL.

Mike, Brett and Glenn Ellis
Frank and Anthony Drmic
Grant and Robbie Cadee - brothers or cousins?
Peter and Mark Gaze I think were brothers
Brett and Jason Wheeler
Rick and Adrian Hodges
Luc and Griffin Longley
the Pennisi brothers - I forget their first names
was David Smyth Phil's brother or a cousin?
did Stephen Whitehead have a brother who played NBL at Melbourne with him at some stage?
and I vaguely recall a set of brothers playing for Hobart Tassie Devils in the 1980s - Stanwix?
were Graeme and Chris Anstey brothers? IIRC they both came from Ballarat?
