LK should of asked if one eg Childress would interview in the BULLETS and AL interview in Tipans

Does it matter who has money in this new team, as long as there IS money then that is all that matters.
NBA players generally have more $ than sense so if others decide to invest due to thinking the next star thing is giving enough publicity to the league and they want to then fantastic...
We all want a league with more financially sustainable clubs and if we get that from ex NBA players then I'm all for it

What is the net worth of these investors?

As has been said, it's probably not much cash (if any) being put in, it's more about promotions and networking in exchange for a "stake."
And it's not about getting a return on their investment. These guys do it because it keeps them interested and involved.
Basketball has been their life, so if they're not going into full-time coaching or media, this helps keep them involved and interested in the game. At the very least they get good seats.

"Do people not understand that this is not an LK team?? Heard of Romie Chaudhari perhaps?" Yes I have, he's the front man for LK. Was their a point?

And we have found out who bought the LK Koolaid!
Only avail from the NBL Store.

of course

I think you will find this is more about marketing and promotion as opposed to investing (their own money) in a basketball team. i.e. They get a x% stake for SEM using their names and getting promotional appearances.

Investing in sports especially in Australia is done for love not money. I hope these guys don't expect to get major returns the way Lebron did with Liverpool FC.

Zac Randolph player owner

Jesus, always find something to complain about...
This is great news to have ex-NBA Players who have actually played in the NBL and know what it used to be like to be enthusiastic enough to put their hard earned in... Pretty cluey businessmen from all accounts, they wouldn't just be chucking their cash away...
