Well, its getting a bit awkward now isnt it? his 3rd game in the league this season, and has produced.. well nothing... has shown no upside what so ever in the NBL.. I am yet to see signs that it is about to improve either.. so whats to be done with CJ Massingale?

I understand, he is merely an import that was meant to be our 8 or 9th player off the bench, filling a Darren Ng type role and that he shouldnt be held to the same standards as other imports... But, he isnt even competent at that much right now. Darren Ng hits threes consistantly and was an instant offense.. Massingale is yet to hit a shot for the 6ers despite being MVP multiple times in the SEABL... Has the Experiment failed? Is it the end of the road for Massingale?

He looks completely overwhelmed in the NBL.. and the sad thing is, he seems like a good guy.. but maybe not cut out for this level of basketball.. apon seeing his highlight tapes, I was skeptical as to whether he could rise to this level... Not particular quick, doesnt really have an array of moves.. just shoots well.. At the moment, his shot isnt dropping, which you could forgive if he was bringing other intangibles, but he isnt.. he has played 3 games so far.. clocked some fair court time.. and has done literally nothing to positively effect the team. Will Marty Clarke sack him? will he demote him to a development player role? what is the plan now for Massingale? will he get a few more games to prove himself or is there a chance Marty Clarke might even drop him before then?

Its a bit of a shame that it doesnt look like its working out for Massingale... this will be his one and only chance at NBL at the age of 30. I dont think hes going to work.... how long can the 36ers afford to baby sit?
