Great for the NBL.

Roberson, Madgen, Creek and Wesley- that's a tough, gritty, veteran group and Creek is the elite guy they needed to top it off.

Haven't analysed their depth enough yet, but with a strong 5 man that'll be a good starting 5.

Just an opinion, but I would have thought for 2-way contracts you're more looking younger players or "diamond in the rough" types.

I think Mitch is a bit more of a known quantity. Not to say he won't get another shot, but maybe at the end of the NBL season if a team needs a top up of a solid role player going into the playoffs.

His contract with SEM didn't allow for a two way. It was all in or nothing. If they can sign a beast at the five they're gonna be tough.

any news if he was offered a two way

It's only a guess but I wouldn't think so, because if he did, I could see him taking it and grinding his way up to a full contract.

Sucks for Creek but he gave it a red hot go over there and no matter what happens in the future he can always say he played in the NBA.
