Or play the men first with women after, if people want to stay, they will.

There’s only 1 issue and that’s the locker room, you’ll need both men’s and women’s in the stadium.

Having the game before the men doesn’t mean it will be full audience, some will get there half way through the wnbl game but still 3000 people plus is better than having a few hundred or a 1000 at dandenong it Bendigo or Perth it Adelaide etc

The audience would grow overtime with more exposure. You might see 7500 coming in earlier for wnbl double header and 15,000 leaving after
I don’t think they will really care that you will people coming in during the game.

I like the idea of alligning the men's and women's leagues but double headers are a very long night. What about alternate Home and Away, men play at H, women play A. That way, the women still get to stand alone, as apparantly they want, but can also take advantage of a larger fan base for the team/club. And honestly, most of us would find it easier to be at least a little interested in an alligned, other-gender team. And, makes for some delicious membership packages.

Could really hurt with live media exposure if both games at the same time but with our time zones it might just work.

"Why aren't the wnbl teams just

Melbourne
S.e Melbourne
Perth
Adelaide
Sydney
Cairns
Brisbane
Illawarra
Nz

Makes things easier for everyone involved."

NZ already tried and failed. Brisbane has failed 4 times! Why get rid of Townsville who are one of the most well run clubs in the league? Why get rid of Canberra who have the financial backing to keep good players in the country?

The afl, nrl, a league. All the same combined men’s and women’s.

I really think kestleman had the chance and maybe others thought they could go there own way. Setting the women’s game back years.

Don’t see why you can’t play the women games before the men’s with maybe the women’s season starting a little later, maybe a third through the nbl season or finishing a 1/3 before the end of the nbl season.

^ Agree, its going to happen in the future like in the AFL so just do it now.

Having a completeky different organisation with different teams, locations, board, admin, apparel etc etc is just stupid.

Wonder what logo will cover centre court at Dandenong now , how will the manage that branding and colour change

Their roster is already filled
They will be competitive for sure and hopefully their home games may now reflect an elite sport unlike what the have been like for the past number of years

I think the wnbl will end after this season or next sadly.

Another reason why the wnbl will not survive.
Jackson and karp will not save it. Lk has to takeover.

I am currently coaching an under 14's 1's boys team.

Unfortunately they love to talk during drills and behave inappropriately throughout them along with not giving 100%. They are just being typical 13 year olds.

What can I do to make sure they listen to me and perform drills properly? I have tried making them run but it doesn't seem to work that well, not all kids run at 100% and some find it funny.

Should I threaten to cut court time? Write up a list of team rules and hand them out?

I must admit I should be focusing more on very basic skills, that's probably why some of the drills I run look atrocious because they aren't at that skill level yet.

Any tips or advice would be great.
