Casper v melo at the drew league
So did you decide who the real Melo is yet?

If he played double that time for the hawks and doubled those stats you be very happy.

Doesn't matter Zalgiris are the big money club there they buy up all the best talent which is why they're so dominant, he would've been doing that against guys that are above NBL bench standard which is why for a 17 yo kid it's very impressive.

Four days later, he played his first LKL game versus Lietkabelis Panevėžys, going scoreless in five minutes.[70] Ball scored his first points at the professional level on January 21, when he posted 13 points in a 116–93 loss to Pieno žvaigždės Pasvalys.[71][72] On February 4, he scored a season-high 19 points, with four three-pointers and six assists, in a loss to Žalgiris Kaunas.

The Lithuanian league ain't no joke and Zalgiris are the big powerhouse team in that league too.

In official LKL games:
6.5ppg
1.1rbs
2.4ass
0.8sts
0.1blk
in 12:39 of average minutes played although in one blowout he scored 19pts to bump his average up.

"I think people underestimate how good he is. Time will tell"
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be surprised if he did really well in the NBL. He has amazing potential.
But honestly, how hard is it to assess this guy? You can see why he is underestimated. You can't be mad for people underestimating him.
He plays in leagues and competitions which are glorified pick up games without real defensively intensity.
I can only think of when he played in the top-flight Lithuanian league (not the junior league he was in but the higher level one) as the one or so time he played against real defensive intensity. That is a very small sample size though.

If you lived basketball there is only really 2 comps on at the moment. 1 is Drew league

Damn I thought this was Trimble. Why are these dumbasses saying how will he go in the NBL?
Just say "Ball Kid" and we will know what you are on about!

The kid can flat out shoot!
Regardless of whether that was the best game of his life or not, still impressive.

"Casper was playing well. Melo was a bit weak on D good 3 and made a few mistakes"
Casper is a seasoned pro and Melo is a 17-year-old kid expect mistakes. Looking like a likely lottery pick with that skill and size at the 1

Will melo be a good player in the NBL?
No doubt about it. He will be super entertaining too.
I think people underestimate how good he is. Time will tell

No defence but he’s very very fast, pace to burn, can hit the three as well. He will be a handful to guard if they don’t over play him.
