Spear and Ali resignation

I believe the 'resignations', or walk outs occured 2 weeks ago and was surprised that nothing was said for a week.
As for Macca's query, I think that c) and d) are closer to the mark.
Hopefully the whole story may emerge soon, but neither of these guys would be looking to stir the pot- they have too much dignity.
