D2.0, there were 3 teams equal, not two, so the tie-breaker goes:

1) Win-loss in the games played between the three teams:

Czech 1-1
Greece 1-1
Brazil 1-1

2) With that tied, it comes to points differential in the games between those teams:

Czech +15 (beat Bra by 22, lost to Gre by 7)
Greece +6 (lost to Bra by 1, beat Czech by 7)
Brazil -21 (lost to Czech by 22, beat Gre by 1)

I know this is what everyone has been banging on about, and I'm just Glad Australia completely bypassed the need for such shenanigans,
but the +/- rule seems to be whacked.

Both Greece and Czechs come in on 2 wins.
Greece beats the Czechs, but Czechs advance?
Because Brazil lost their bottle?

Surely with two teams equal, their h2h should prevail?

No I think Brazil just need to win to go through (as they and the US will be 4-1, Czechs and Greece 3-2) and they'll go through as the first seed too as they'll have the head-to-head over the US.

TSV vs MEL = Townsville in overtime by two
ADE vs PER = Adelaide by fourteen
