NBL season launch on ESPN

Anyone know who’s broadcasting NBL x NBA games?

Here’s hoping if sbs or espn are so dedicated to nbl and nba, that either will broadcast the games

It looks like live @ hungry jacks show is half an hour post game on the first game night of the week (Thursday for round 1, Friday for round 2)

And viceland showing the nbl slam show that Fox sports was showing last year. Tbh I wish they go with the format of 3min packages of each game + top 10 plays of the week, chuck that on a Monday or Tuesday night, then show overtime on SBS on wed or thurs (ie night before first game)

There is a special one hour SportsCenter airing before the first game this Thursday night with Gaze, Bogut, Lauren Jackson and LaMelo.

Also this:

In a new initiative, Sportsbet will align with the new post-game TV show Live @ Hungry Jack’s Presented by Sportsbet on ESPN, which will provide viewers with a unique insight into the NBL.

How regular the two are I'm not sure though.

I thought they increased to 2.5hrs to provide for extra pre/post game coverage. Disappointing to reduce it

Before last season they were in 2 hr slots. I think channel 9 instigated the 2.5 hr slots and SBS is bringing it back to 2 hrs like they had before

SBS aren't airing all of them. SBS on Demand (online streaming) is.

TV coverage is a combination of SBS and ESPN - all afternoon games air on SBS Viceland (before 7:30PM EST tipoffs); all night games (7:30PM EST and after) on ESPN.

Am I misunderstanding something here. I thought/think that all NBL games are live on SBS stations. If so, why bother with other, less accessible(?) ways?

Can some-one tell me if SBS is showing all games (and NBL TV too)?

7:30-8:30 NBL Launch
8:30-11 Melb v SEM

Weirdly, the other games are all 2 hour slots. Last year weren’t they 2.5hr slots?
