McDowell-White waived
It's not really a reach if he plays at a lower level than the NBL in Europe. The style of the NBL would probably suit him better though. That said, I think Rockets still have his NBA-G rights so if they've given him some reasonable feedback about their interest you'd suspect he'd stay over there.

He didn't do much dominating playing for the Kings a couple of years ago. He played in Germany's second-tier league last season he'd be an average player in the NBL.

Why not come back to the NBL for this season. Given all the scout attention on Hampton and Ball, there might not be a better opportunity to get further cut through with NBA teams. He's clearly on some radars already.
As much as I would love to see him at Adelaide, I agree with the Brisbane suggestion

MDW success, not certain where at senior level, div 2 Germany, first year, injured second year. A summer league isn't success. To much hype on some of Australian young players with not a lot of performance.
couldnt agree more, way too much hype which also then puts too much pressure on young players, let them be , if they can make it they will, if not leave them alone

Poor bugger, has to be rough on him. Agree with Anon above: hop to a g-league team and try and grab a 10-day here and there.

Could also be signed as an injury replacement player for Perth with Swaka out for 3 months giving him time to score a Euro gig January onwards.

With his achievements, so far, is he likely to come home or try Europe?
Reckon Bris need a starting PG. McDowell-White is from Brisbane and with his recent successes in the US, would solve that issue.
I honestly think that Sobey is a great player but a very ordinary starting PG. Cadee, much the same. And nearly every other team is now very strong in the PG spot.
When you think of the Next Stars program, here it is in reverse. An Aussie kid going to the NBA to help him get a gig back home.
